Windmills are pretty to look at.

If you absolutely had to pick, would you rather live within eyeshot of windmills or solar farms? Assume that if living near the windmills, you wouldn't be close enough to hear them or get the "blinking shadow effect" into your windows.

@wrowclif Two aesthetic complaints: 1) when all the red lights blink in unison, it creates an extremely creepy alien robot invasion vibe at night. They should just set them independently so it’s a more organic twinkling effect.

@wrowclif 2) too many broken ones not turning in sync with the rest really messes up the whole look. They gotta keep on top of the maintenance!

@wrowclif These are both reasonably fixable things, and aside from those I agree they look pretty neat. Wouldn’t want to live directly in the shadow of one but certainly wouldn’t mind seeing a bunch of them in the distance.
