TEIA member @normalistoxic has been planning this project (Voices of Iran) for a few months now - but it just became very urgent, almost overnight. Regardless of your opinion on the politics of the region, this project is geared towards helping Iranian artists of our community for humanitarian reasons so I hope people are able to see the difference. @TeiaCommunity will be launching a funding mechanism in the next few weeks through our DAO to help initiatives like these get off the ground. 🚨 Fire has returned to Patagonia. We are on alert! The flames are advancing on Cerro Pirque, a sacred mountain located across from @BosqueGracias, and we are heartbroken. 💔🫂 Many of these fires are intentionally set, and once again we see the lack of resources, state support, and environmental policies to protect these unique and invaluable natural territories. That’s why we’ve decided to reactivate the Stop Fires in Patagonia collection, a project we first launched last summer to support families in Epuyén, who continue to be affected by these fires. The funds raised help cover essential resources for protection and recovery: water pumps, tools, fuel, and safety materials. 🚨 You can collect the pieces that are still available, and more will be added in the coming days. Hey #Tezos folks - it's finally here - the @TeiaCommunity blog is now pushed to preview and ready for beta testing! The UI is in staging but the contract itself is on mainnet and LIVE so be careful what you post! preview.teia.art/blog About the blog: Community Tab - pulls blog posts and text mints minted on the site by all community members. Bulletin Tab - Posts made my multisig team members for "official" TEIA matters. New Posts - The button on the top right allows blog users to embed TEIA tokens directly into their posts, with all of the appropriate metadata. We are prepping this feature to be later integrated with split revenue/royalties streams in the updated marketplace contracts in the near future, which will allow for a system that is both open but also incentive-aligned for everyone involved. 🤝 This feature is a variation on TEIA's existing minting contract, which is still the same as Hic et Nunc - so it will not change anything on the back end. No additional indexing or adjustments needed, at least for now. (contract address is: KT1RJ6PbjHpwc3M5rw5s2Nbmefwbuwbdxton) This is one of many features we are pushing over the next few months but if anyone spots any bugs let me or @_joesimon know! He really did an amazing job with this whole thing and we're lucky to have him working with us on this stuff! 🙏 Coming next: - On-chain messaging, direct wallet-to-wallet communications. Finally! - Consolidation of the multisig, DAO, and other governance features for better legibility and transparency. (Our infra is good but we want to make it easier for members to see what's actually going on.) - Comments added to governance pages so we have a place to actually discuss things. (Also on-chain.) - Member wiki/resources pages - simplified enough so that anyone can participate. - TEIA Calendar - for member and official events scheduling...on-chain, and managed by the DAO itself. First of its kind!
