BREAKING: "The Deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran is now complete."
President Trump says he has authorized the opening of the Strait of Hormuz and the immediate removal of the U.S. naval blockade following what he says is a completed agreement with Iran.
"Ships of the World, start your engines. Let the oil flow!"

@Major_Atl @B33fSpr3m3 @EWErickson I try to focus on policy, not the political circus. Both parties rely on distractions and finger pointing to avoid accountability. As long as they prioritize political survival over real solutions, nothing will ever truly change.
English

@99thinkaboutit @B33fSpr3m3 @EWErickson Imagine if that type of person was a US Congressmen, Senator, or President
English

@B33fSpr3m3 @Major_Atl @EWErickson I define my own path to success. I choose to focus on my agency and capabilities rather than adopting a victim mentality, which only serves to limit personal growth.
English

@99thinkaboutit @Major_Atl @EWErickson Funny.
Everyone seems to know exactly what White is when it comes to discriminating against them.
Including yourself.
English

@B33fSpr3m3 @Major_Atl @EWErickson Whatever makes you feel "superior"... But there’s no such thing as a monolithic 'White' race. We are defined by our distinct European cultures and histories, not by a racial label.
English

@99thinkaboutit @Major_Atl @EWErickson I haven’t insulted anybody, nor am I arguing. I’m stating irrefutable facts;
You said something blatantly false.
That makes you a liar.
You acknowledged I was correct & tried using ~me being correct~as evidence that ACKSHUALLY you are correct.
That makes you low IQ.
English

@B33fSpr3m3 @Major_Atl @EWErickson HBCUs are open enrollment or have standard competitive admissions, there is no barrier preventing a white student from applying and being accepted, provided they meet the institution's academic requirements.
English

@B33fSpr3m3 @Major_Atl @EWErickson Insults aren't arguments. If you can’t defend your position without projection and name calling, it’s clear you don't have a real point to make.
English

@99thinkaboutit @Major_Atl @EWErickson Just say you lied.
He’s obviously low IQ. You’re the one that is making a racial statement about it, you low IQ liar.
English

@Major_Atl @B33fSpr3m3 @EWErickson No one wants Ivy League only. We want the most capable person, period. If you can’t find talent outside of elite schools, you aren't looking hard enough. Diversity should be a byproduct of hunting for the best, not a requirement that replaces it.
English

@99thinkaboutit @B33fSpr3m3 @EWErickson True to a certain extent;
But if you solely went by the "Best Candidate" mandate you would only be hiring people from Ivory League Schools.
Everyone else wouldn't have an opportunity to train, learn, and grow.
English

@B33fSpr3m3 @Major_Atl @EWErickson Your insults are predictable and deeply prejudiced. You might think you're clever by avoiding a direct slur, but using 'low IQ' rhetoric to attack someone is a textbook example of bigoted, racist behavior. Your bias is obvious.
English

@99thinkaboutit @Major_Atl @EWErickson I don’t want to hurt anybody.
I haven’t stated any racial slurs.
You are a liar & a fool
English

@B33fSpr3m3 @Major_Atl @EWErickson If your political philosophy requires you to dehumanize people or find enemies to hurt, you have to ask yourself if that aligns with the life and teachings of Jesus, or if you’ve just swapped the Gospel for a political idol.
English

@B33fSpr3m3 @Major_Atl @EWErickson There is a massive difference between 'doing politics correctly' and following the moral law. The logic of 'helping your own and hurting your enemies' is the exact logic the Roman Empire used, and it’s the logic that Jesus explicitly rejected.
English

@B33fSpr3m3 @Major_Atl @EWErickson Thinking you're the only one in the room saying something meaningful while hiding behind racial slurs is the height of arrogance. It’s not meaningful if it can’t survive a conversation without resorting to hate.
English

@99thinkaboutit @Major_Atl @EWErickson Oh quite the contrary.
There is no debate & Im the only one saying anything meaningful
English

@EYakoby What is he going to do? Make another threat and then back down at the last minute like he has done a dozen since the start of this war.
English

@Major_Atl @B33fSpr3m3 @EWErickson It includes specific hiring targets, specialized mentorship tracks, and altered evaluation metrics that shift the focus from who is the best candidate to who helps us reach our demographic goals. When you change the goalpost, you change the standard, whether or not you admit it.
English

@Major_Atl @B33fSpr3m3 @EWErickson Expanding recruitment to new colleges is a positive goal if it truly finds untapped talent. However, the 'DEI' label typically entails more than just visiting a new campus
English

@Major_Atl @B33fSpr3m3 @EWErickson Contrast that with someone like Victor Wembanyama: his place in the NBA is never questioned because he earned it through performance. When you remove merit as the primary standard, you strip away the very respect those individuals deserve for their hard work.
English

@Major_Atl @B33fSpr3m3 @EWErickson DEI is another example of a policy whose good intentions ignore the reality of its impact. By prioritizing identity over merit, these programs inadvertently label groups as lesser while breeding resentment toward them in the workplace.
English

@Major_Atl @B33fSpr3m3 @EWErickson I'm 100% for helping students in need, but why use DEI to do it? Why not just use economic-based aid? If the goal is to help a poor kid from rural Montana or inner-city Detroit, you don't need a diversity program?
English

@99thinkaboutit @B33fSpr3m3 @EWErickson I've seen college scholarships funded by DEI programs give urban and rural Americans a financial chance to go to college that they couldn't get anywhere else.
English

@Major_Atl @B33fSpr3m3 @EWErickson I’m curious, why do we accept a "diversity quota" approach in a corporate office but find it completely absurd in the NFL or NBA?
English

@99thinkaboutit @B33fSpr3m3 @EWErickson Yes, I support them as long as you have marginalized groups that don't have access to opportunities everyone else does.
That also includes Disabled Veterans, Native Americans, Senior Citizens, under privileged urban and rural citizens
