@BcTurfNZ@ventrac@priceturfcare@Tom_Ventrac@RupertPrice6@GaryVentrac Blair. At 6psi we are not breaking the surface of the turf. The customer was very happy as their current machine would have made a lot more mess and also meant 5 staff for 5 hours collecting balls by had could be used doing other jobs. It maybe not for everyone. Thanks
Trying out our golf ball picker bracket up in a very wet North Wales. The @ventrac is not just for mowing banks. Hours of hand picking golf balls this winter can be gone if you own one.
@Stewartmarsha11@dudleygolfclub A cheaper more disruptive option of mole ploughing to a collector drain on the collar? Unfortunately, that water still needs to get away.
@BcTurfNZ@dudleygolfclub Hi Blair, I'd love to install Hydrowick as local clubs to me have used this system in recent times to amazing results, however we are no where near the position to afford any of these unfortunately.
Using an earth auga to dig through clay on some wet spots on greens and back filling with sand to kind of make a largish soak aways. Anyone tried this before and care to share results?? it's a cheap way for us to try something here @dudleygolfclub
Had access to this behemoth of a roller for free. I figured why not give it a try.🤷😬Results were fantastic. Shocked my staff and the Foreman that lent me it. What's the worse that could happen!😅
In lieu of paved cart paths at Stillwater, we added 18 acres of shell screenings to add visual contrast and reduce costs. What do you think of this aesthetic?
@iTweetTurf@asianturfgrass If it is a new property may all greens to get a full initial picture, then I would recommend grouping into greens that had similar construction types or dates and have similar performance. Resulting in maybe 3 to 4 greens per 18 holes.
