@ggabefootball As long as y’all keep putting democRATS in office, you will continue to pay for your vote. Glad I left the state over 20 years ago

When Arlington Park was still around they were paying property taxes of between 2.8 to 3.2M. The Bears now are paying 3.6M for a vacant piece of land. The county and school districts want to gouge them way more. That’s just not right. Not only will a Stadium be in the property but there will also be several other buildings/business paying taxes. It will be a cash cow for the county/school districts when the whole project is complete. The idiot politicians never see the big picture they look at just a small part. And we wonder why this state is so screwed up

Same here,…..yet I still need to have a fucking iPass to drive home because I cannot possibly read and write down every toll plaza I pass. If the state wasn’t so corrupt, they would simply mail out of state plates the actual bill. Not a bill with an extra $45.00 in fees tacked on.

Colorado has as many people in the entire state as the city of Chicago alone. They made so much money off the sale of legal weed (which all went to the school districts) that they had another vote on what to do with the extra money after fulfilling their goals. Yet Illinois legalizes weed, taxes people 4x what CO does and still sits back crying broke. This on top of most property taxes being north of $10k and the ridiculous toll roads that were only supposed to be temporary. Flat out “Fuck-You” corruption at its finest….

It's not dislike of Colston Loveland to understand football and know Rome Odunze will lead the team in target shares in 2026. The Bears are lucky to have Rome, Coleston, and Luther. Rome Odunze has the best argument to lead the Bears in target share because he’s the most complete outside receiver on the roster and now no longer has to compete with DJ Moore for alpha-receiver volume. Odunze already posted a 24.4% target rate in 12 regular-season games in 2025, while playing through and injury, and Chicago traded away Moore after his target share dropped significantly. Odunze also finished 2025 with 661 receiving yards and six touchdowns despite missing five games, and clearly playing through injury in others, showing he was already trending toward becoming a featured target before the offseason changes. The biggest competition will likely come from Luther Burden III and Colston Loveland, but Burden profiles more as a slot/YAC weapon while Loveland works the middle of the field. Odunze is the best bet to become the primary perimeter receiver and red-zone target for Caleb Williams in 2026. Rome is about to have a massive 2026 as the Bears primary receiver.

If the value’s there, I could 100% see the #Bears using a pick in Rounds 3-4 on a cornerback to push Tyrique Stevenson for a starting spot @LanceZierlein compared Tacario Davis to Nahshon Wright. Very similar physical profiles — I think Davis would be a perfect fit in Chicago
Jacob Infante@jacobinfante24

Washington CB Tacario Davis (Rd 3-4): + 4.41 speed at 6’4” + Massive catch radius + Adjusts to the ball well mid-air + Good underneath instincts + Quick zone processor + Size advantage as tackler - High-hipped mover - Sudden cuts in man - Tackling form

If someone talks about Caleb Williams completion percentage - just show them this. Don't even need to say anything, just let them watch this. (No shade at #Bears WRs either, but this offense is JUST scratching the surface) x.com/Fatslob1123/st…

This YOY leap is still absolutely mindblowing. I knew he’d improve in Y2, but Caleb went from bad straight to elite. Yes, OL upgrade was a part as the pressures came later, but so was his ability to read and manipulate defenses with his eyes and trust in his own elusiveness.
Ian Hartitz@Ihartitz

Caleb Williams percentage of pressured dropbacks that result in sacks: 2024: 28.2% (43rd among 44 QBs) 2025: 10.8% (3rd among 43 QBs)

Kevin Warren and George McCaskey said the Bears are still appealing the NFL's decision to not give them compensatory picks for Ian Cunningham's departure. They expect an answer soon. McCaskey, Warren and GM Ryan Poles visited with commissioner Roger Goodell in New York City and stated the team's case to receive comp picks based on their belief that Cunningham's departure/hire as GM in Atlanta fulfills Rooney Rule obligations that should net Chicago 2 compensatory third round picks.
