It's been probably over a year since I've spoken about @Motoswap/@opnetbtc. This is the Berachain people deserved. Today I started browsing their docs since exposure to BTC right now is effectively free. defibible.org I have openly had crossed feelings about Motoswap where I couldn't decide the final trajectory and expectations from the team. $MOTO began essentially as a CTO. A rugged project reborn from community members to make everyone whole. Originally inexperienced, naive to the market forces around them. Converted over the course of 3 entire years to a team of competent builders. Now just a couple weeks away from launching as close to true genuine smart contracts on BTC as I think we're ever going to get. Things are slower here, both in actuality, and metaphorically. This isn't me specifically shilling Motocats (which you should buy because the airdrops will be lucrative), but more of a love letter and almost an apology for at times not fully believing in the team at times. I think they're going to shock a lot of people; and no matter the outcome in the next few weeks, they've achieved what very few teams have ever done. Name 1 team without VC backing or funding, working 3 years to actually bring change to our industry. It's impressive. The road ahead is long, slowfi will take some time for adoption, but there's genuine usecase. And I think if we've learned anything from this cycle, $BTC is the only real token that matters.
