I had a pet cat living in one of the Las Vegas tunnels, being cared for by a homeless man. As a cat lover, it was hard to see. The man has chosen to live in that tunnel and has been there for over a decade—that’s his decision. But the cat doesn’t have a choice.
It raises a real question: if someone chooses to live this way, is it acceptable for an animal to be brought into it?
