@mikegeyser It can take quite a while to get into the flow which is why we've seen so many failures when companies try to experiment with remote working for a day. Chances are minimal it'll work unless you give the team enough time to find a rhythm.

Fancy DevOps can only cover up underlying team problems in the short term. There's no point in delivery quickly if the team is suffering so sort out those fundamentals before bringing more tech into play.

@steipete The whole "full stack developer" concept seems flawed so I'm hoping orgs stop adding it as a requirement. Having an *interest* in full-stack and an ability to learn is far more important than just copy/pasting from this month's TIOBE into your CV :-)

Okay I need some twitter help. I need to explain to a senior manager why calling our team a “factory” is not a good idea. Anyone got a good article I can use to point out how this might be perceived as being degrading and impact morale.
