🇺🇸 This is the candlelit vigil outside Glam Doll Donuts, where nurse Alex Pretti was killed by ICE. The crowd's chanting "Burn down Fort Snelling" (that's the fed building housing ICE ops) with signs like "Fuck ICE" and a growing sea of protesters in the snowy night. Being early always looks like a mistake.
We live in a world obsessed with speed.
Fast results. Fast success. Fast validation.
If something doesn’t move quickly, it’s labeled as a failure.
If progress is quiet, it’s ignored.
Turtle Theory exists to challenge that belief.
It starts with a simple idea:
the opposite path is often the right one.
The turtle doesn’t chase momentum.
It doesn’t react to noise.
It doesn’t panic when others rush past it.
It moves forward with intention,
accepting that the journey will be long, uncertain, and misunderstood.
And that’s the point.
Being early almost always looks like being wrong.
Walking against the current feels lonely.
Turtle Theory is not about being slow for the sake of being slow.
It is about being aligned with time instead of fighting it.
The turtle survives storms not because it is fast,
but because it is prepared to endure them.
You don’t know what awaits you.
You don’t know how long it will take.
You go anyway.
You keep walking.
You keep doing.
You keep living.
Turtle Theory is the belief that choosing the longer, harder, and opposite path leads to lasting growth and truth.
It’s about trusting time and endurance over speed, shortcuts, and noise.
