@NeverAgainNG @Charlesumeze5 @onyekanwelue For someone that was taken questions for BAT at Chatham house, I wonder why such closeness to Obi. They caged Rufai while setting Obi free.

@EngrMarez @Charlesumeze5 @onyekanwelue That arrest was really God's sent for real. When I scored initially but decided to ignore was when elrufai came on TV saying there should be nothing like zoning. I wondered why he would say that.

@saba_4real @NwanyieA How can we ever forget. Same person is struggling to enslave for another 4years.

@Charlesumeze5 @onyekanwelue You fail to think. They will keep coming to entrap him. Remember uncle Doyin. Now Fayemi is at it again. All BATmen

This is the southern gang up against Tinubu that Segun Osoba was crying about. Anybody who thinks that the southern votes to be fragmented against a solid northern candidate and Tinubu will be the beneficiary is selling you a dummy. With this arrangement, Tinubu cannot recover the northern base he lost from anywhere else. The SS, SE, and SW he is hoping to corner for himself are now crowded. Where is the pathway to a win?

@EkeneAninze Doyin was always a BATman. Even Kwankwaso was visiting Villa until the fall-out with Gov Abba. I just hope they know what's at stake.

@EngrMarez That was after election when he was chases by EFCC I guess.

Anytime I remember the late Doyin Okupe, I remember the saying which says, “sometimes most of us might not be part of the future we clamour to build.”
Around this time of election in 2022, Okupe was everywhere with Peter Obi. Apart from the fact that he was used as a placeholder Vice Presidential candidate, Okupe followed Peter Obi tirelessly, galvanizing the whole nation on behalf of Labour Party.
Even with his huge size, he faced the heat, sweat and every discomfort that came with the 2022 campaign season.
Though Peter Obi didn’t win and Okupe later fell out with the Obidient movement and Labour Party, no one can deny the efforts he put into the cause of Peter Obi. He gave his energy, his voice and his presence to a movement he genuinely believed in.
Today, it is another election season again, but Okupe, who was so active during the 2023 elections, is no more to witness 2027. Life itself has a way of reminding us how temporary and unpredictable everything can be.
Yet, only a few persons can still remember the man who once played the same role Senator Dickson is currently playing in the ambition of Peter Obi today.
May the soul of Doyin Okupe continue to rest in peace.
I am Ekene Aninze Esq.

Good intention but bad move, if you ask me.

Gov. Alex Otti names new Umuahia bus terminal after Prof. Nnenna Oti, the returning officer who announced his electoral victory.

Removing Tinubu isn't the real question, it's who comes next. Peter Obi with his poor record in Anambra? Or Atiku who nearly auctioned Nigeria off? If the opposition actually united around someone like Sowore, that would be worth considering.
The truth is, Tinubu's reforms are working. He’s steering the country in the right direction and Nigeria will be a far better place by the time his tenure ends in 2031.

Nigeria Mourns the Loss of a Distinguished Soldier
It is with great sorrow that I share the news of the passing of Lt. Gen. Chikadibia Isaac Obiakor, a respected soldier, patriot, and one of Nigeria’s exceptional international peacekeepers. Gen. Obiakor dedicated himself to our nation with remarkable bravery and integrity, proudly representing Nigeria both domestically and at the United Nations.
Just a few weeks ago, I engaged with him for some information; it’s hard to believe that was our final conversation. I even mentioned him just last Monday at a public event.
His life was characterised by dedication, sacrifice, and an unwavering commitment to peace and humanity. From the Nigerian military to his participation in global peacekeeping efforts, he exemplified professionalism and integrity, inspiring countless officers and young Nigerians to prioritise service to others.
During this challenging time, I offer my sincere condolences to his family, the Nigerian Armed Forces, and all those who are grieving this significant loss. May God grant his noble soul eternal peace and provide strength to his loved ones as they cope with this painful time. -PO

@iamHSDickson @Kyrianchuks1 If this one wins the main election, he will likely defect to APC to steal the senate maze again.

It was a pleasure to warmly receive Distinguished Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, CFR, former Deputy Senate President, into our great party, alongside Rt. Hon. Victor Ochei, former Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly.
I am also pleased to announce that the NDC has not only received them warmly but has equally granted them waivers to contest in the senatorial primaries in their respective districts tomorrow. I wish them both the very best of luck.
This development is the result of several weeks of consultations aimed at strengthening the foundations of our party in the South-South region and across the country.
I urge everyone to warmly welcome them into our fast-growing family and extend to them the fullest support and cooperation.
