I am informed that a multistorey building has collapsed today in Kaptebeswet, Kericho County and rescue operations ongoing. Seems it was still under construction and from the pictures you can see general site compliance issues and this confirms the execution bit was messed up!

NEW: Family of a Texas teen loses it as judge sentences him to 25 years in prison for robbing a convenience store.
Judge Raquel West was seen torching 18-year-old Caden James Fontenette before handing out the sentence.
"There was a time some years ago that there really wasn't even a question... State's attorneys were recommending youthful offenders probation. Let's give everybody an opportunity..." West said.
"You don't have a good likelihood of being successful if I were to put you on probation... I'm going to sentence you to a term of 25 years."
Fontenette pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery for a 2025 incident where he and two others robbed a convenience store at gunpoint.
The suspects were caught on camera assaulting the store clerk.
Fontenette will likely be in his 40s when he is released from prison.

This is a GREAT point. Every assassination leads to a more radicalized leader. The converse is equally true. The nicer you are to jihadists, the more they moderate. That's why I favored hugging Bin Laden instead sending Seal Team 6. Would have taken down only one tower next time.

Larijani’s replacement will be appointed by IRGC. With every assassination U.S. and Israel engineering greater radicalization of Iran’s leadership. It will makes for a bleak future for Iran, Iranians, the region and ultimately makes it far more difficult for U.S. to disentangle itself from endless conflict in the region.
