Gonna update here. FLOODED BASEMENT UPDATE 🚨 🚨 I patched their mistake by raising the grade even further against the house as a bandaid to divert water away with a massive pitch away. Shockingly (not) this got rid of 95% of the flooding. They literally pitched the fucking yard back into my house with this last repair causing pooling against the house with a below grade sill plate and I fixed that, bringing us essentially back to a small seepage during an absurd rain storm this week. A storm that would have flooded it previously. I think the crux of the issue is that the sill plate is below grade in this area. My next thought is to dig down to make it above grade, properly pitch shit for draining away from the house, add retaining wall to make pretty. This seems like it should work based on previous results of bone headed repairs and my own fixing and research. Thoughts?
