The problem is that because Nintendo has historically been very protective about most of ANY sort of content getting out in the past it’s kind of engrained into the fandom culture now to be “spoiler police” which in itself isn’t a bad thing. But now that Nintendo is making a LOT more content these days in so much media I think it’s time for us to relax a bit and let folks have their fun.

I understand people's frustrations with the Fox McCloud early reveal. This is a cool moment, and God forbid we get surprised when we watch a movie. But with these kind of metrics for X alone (245k likes and 29.7M views), it's hard to argue with them about what was the right move.
