@elcarmi @MarcusHouseGame @ChrisCrosss98 Before a make an assumption; can they close the roads on all three days - primary, secondary and secondary? Because if so, then yes, best case it flys 2nd secondary. If not, then it’s not actually possible.

Ok, so let's just put this into perspective. We could be seeing SN9 take flight (assuming tests go well) as early as the start of next week. 😲 Just let that sink in for a moment! 🤩 Road closures there for Monday with backups on Tuesday/Wednesday.

So what if SpaceX launched a small pad, the same size as the Starship which allowed the Starship to magnetically lock into place upon landing

Think about it, you have them magnetically attach when landing and use electromagnets to take off and disable them. The gap between the end of the Starship and the engine is already big enough to allow oxygen in and out for a proper take off.

@MarcusHouseGame @bcart03 @nextspaceflight @NASASpaceflight Starship legs are one of the hardest problems. Externally mounted legs require shielding, which adds mass. Wider stance adds mass. Shock absorbers add mass. That said, we need better legs.
