Logical fallacy. Being the better player with an understanding, in any game, rewards you with an advantage, not a win.
In a well designed game, the % advantage you receive for being the better player is so high, that we just assume the better player wins.

Even though Tekken 8 is on crack right now. I still don't get why people say you don't need know to know how to play Tekken. Every Placer is still a veteran. The game Def rewards understanding Tekken.

@Speedkicks MTG great competitive game, but by design the advantage a professional has vs. an amateur imo isn't very high. i think certain pros have like 60%? winrate

@GeistSC @NgObscure Reading your opponent's timing is as important in Tekken 8 as it ever was. Hell, it's more powerful the lower down the skill ladder you go 🤷♀️

Yea this might be a hot take but as long as AsukaLover69 cant just randomly get top 8 at majors I'll always believe the game still takes skill and isn't just an ez mode fighting game
Whether or not you find it fun competing in it still is another story tho
