@BryanOffutt I like that idea, we're working on exit data now. One of things we've been trying to understand is the set of leading indicators to those eventual exits. That's hard given the available dataset and timelines here, so we'll keep iterating.

@harris This is a really interesting idea, but my one piece of feedback is that it should really only be based on companies with an actual exit event (or a clearly inevitable one, e.g. Databricks).

We ranked every VC (43,000 of them!) as a Kingmaker or a Prophet Kingmakers plow money into the best companies, arming them with an unfair advantage to outspend their competitors tokenmaxxing, talent harvesting, and selling at a ridiculous pace Prophets find the best companies first. They have the elusive 'taste' to know which company will only be a unicorn, and which will be the next decacorn (or larger) Link 👇

You should never release a product that embarrasses you. Imperfect? Sure. Buggy? Absolutely. Incomplete? Obviously. But embarrassing? No. Take pride in your work.

Great product takes time. So does a great cap table. The best founders treat relationship-building the same way they treat product-building.

A venture fund. But instead of monday meetings we just go on photo walks.
