I did as well when switching from them to Mint, I did get it work, but time suck. A new phone wasn't in his plan. Still trying.

@Hopdragon @Verizon I went through the same thing with them on a switch to T-Mobile. Spent HOURS talking to different people. Escalated it way up. Ended up giving up. Time was more valuable than the cost of buying a different phone.

Not purchased from a 3rd party, it was a new phone in 2017, used Verizon the entire time.

This is what her sidewalk looked like today. Took her 3 hours to blow & shovel it back out. I get that Duluth got a lot of snow, that isn't a new thing, but getting her sidewalk buried is. #duluth

Tonight I was on the phone with my Duluth resident sister as she watched the snowplow plow her sidewalk and driveway in. AGAIN! Does she need to put up a snow fence on her boulevard? What's the answer? Asking from someone who grew up in N Wisconsin
