@Lucky_N00dle @VileFate Every single item i listed and more are needed to open up vaults in marathon, each being done in different ways. Antumbra, pentumbra, operator, scanner, Relic, ext are all 'buzzwords' for things in various raids.

I just cant believe the "raid-like" mechanics in Marathon that Bungie teased ending up being "interact with 3 monitors with the same symbol". I knew that marketing Cryo as a "raid-like" thing was a bait (it wouldnt work in this genre) but I still expected something more than that

@DecimatorDrew @VileFate 70% of d2 exotic missions are stand on thing or shoot thing, let alone in destiny you are not nearly as threatened as in marathon. 1: is it bad if they are around exotic mission mechanic difficulty? 2: Can *you* explain to me how to do V6 and V7 if they're that simple?

@MayorReynoldsTV @MarathonTheGame (Can't play ranked, but fully understand how it works) Cryo archive every day, being able to load in and have straight avenues to loot I'd amazing, with a nice amount of depth

Now that both Cryo Archive and Ranked are available in @MarathonTheGame, which activity do you like better and why?

@VileFate I agree they aren't super in depth but they certainly aren't a nothing burger worth of stuff. If I had to compare them to anything it'd be Cod Zombies EE level of stuff.

@ImMrSpaceman These aren't raid mechanics, its a glorified scavenger hunt that requires little to no thought from the players. "Raid-like mechanics" implies some sort of execution in tandem between players to achieve some task at hand. I wouldn't classify gathering items on the map as that.

Every day I’m more and more tempted to buy Marathon.

@luongas @MintBlitz Snazzy and our team got hard locked by the simple fact that we didnt get a Key from Cryo 06, the rarest item in the game, let alone the hardest of keyboard vaults. If you do a vault, you should get the ability to progress farther

@luongas @MintBlitz The keys that let you open the vaults are random, everything about opening the doors are random, from security clearance, encounters, symbols, ect. Hell, one of the doors literally has the rarest rng item in the game tied to it. To do everything and be cut short is bad imo If

@luongas @MintBlitz Because if our team runs through all vaults we should get access to V7. Get arbitrarily locked out cause your 1st/2nd/3rd run of the rarest key card in the game didnt give you the AI chip shouldn't be a thing

@haderax1 Loot and everything inside if fine for RNG- EXCEPT the AI codes, should be "you did it? Here's a code"

RNG has no place in the vaults, especially when the RNG component is what gates you from making progress. The cards themselves are the RNG. That’s the end of it. Other than that, map is incredible. I do kinda hate the matchmaking system in this game, though. Let it be random.

@maddogkiller66 @Onepeg You need to activate a Exfil Terminal to spawn an exfoliating for your team. Get security 3 by hacking terminals, finding them lying around, or ripping them from bots and players. Once sec 3, use a scan terminal to ping nearby exfil terminals

@Onepeg i enjoyed my time in the archive. my only issue is not being able to get out. 8 runs today and not a single exit to be found, lost each round to the timer. *sadge day

“Exotics” in Marathon exist. This is so dope

@VivaLaDoctor Wanted to come back and say Cryo is fucking amazing, got to run it with two Absolute legends. Our team in the bottom right were the 3rd to finish V6, unfortunately we didnt get the rng item, but I see the vision bungie!

I get why folks would be upset at Cryo and ranked being weekend only. But let’s just step back and think a bit. With duos, and tomorrow cryo and ranked there will be 9 queues in the game. I can see Bungie being concerned with how these additional maps affect the queues.

Had a SUPER fun day in cryo. We were the 3rd team to complete the 6th vault. Which is so crazy! It's a bummer that the loot is RNG for the key, but that's alright. Such an amazing experience. Being part of Evans stream was also sick! GG @haderax1 @ImMrSpaceman

This was really cool. We didn't even realize there was a race for the map, or that we were competing at this high a level for world's first until we tuned in to check it out after a run. Definitely a bucket list goal met. Appreciate you guys for the show! @cbgray_ @evanf1997_
