My sense is that there will be no deal with Iran. Iran will overplay their hand by trying to use the strait to force Trump to accept a total strategic defeat he will never accept, leading to escalation. This will be economically ruinous but if Trump wants be can failed state Iran

Europe is quickly becoming a global pushover. A joke many are looking down on. Their leaders are just inferior. All talk no action. Everything’s virtue signaling and moralisms. “Solidarity with Ukraine!” then doesn’t do anything except rambling about democracy and international law. One of many, MANY examples. None of their words are backed with strength.

The 4 main differences between the foreign USA and the foreign China from a European perspective 1. China is not laying claim to any territory held by a EU member state 2. China has not actively pushed to start a massive land war on European soil 3. China has not purposely engaged in policies to harm European energy security 4. China does not occupy Europe via post-war treaties and forces on the ground China is not a European ally...but it is definitely not an enemy like the USA obviously is.

The reason I am so pro-US is very simple.
The alternative to America is Chinese hegemony over Australia and they would just kill me.
The CCP already marked me for death due to my protests when I was younger.
The Australian Federal Police were forced to make police raids against CCP agents working in Australia to find my address and violently harm me - they confirmed this to the Australian Senate during Estimates.
