Teams that can shoot from the perimeter are going to give the spurs problems because of their scheme. Defensive detail is not good enough so far

@NBABlackburn As a spurs fan I’m really impressed with Denver’s offense. They’re getting great looks

This game FEELS big. Vibe in the arena is a ton of anticipation here. Spurs making it difficult though, and there are a lot of Spurs fans here.

Haven’t seen the spurs defense look this lost in awhile. They’re getting whatever they want. Fortunately, so are the spurs

Keys to the game: Spurs need to play with great pace. Force Jokic and Murray to defend Rebound and keep Gordon and Jokic off the offensive glass

@JTShults @SpursCentral Me too! But mainly due to the price tag. In a couple years, Castle and Harper can adequately replaced Fox’s skill set and that money can be used to better balance out the roster.

Knowing what we know Now about Stephon Castle and Dylan Harper, Do you still make the trade for De'Aaron Fox? My answer: Absolutely 10/10 times. My reasoning: Teams like the Houston Rockets, LA Lakers (after Doncic injury/rest during game), Phoenix Suns, Nuggets (outside of Murray), They don't have a floor general to set the offense etc. That will be their biggest downfalls in the playoffs. The San Antonio Spurs historically have played their best basketball with multiple guard rotation (Parker, Ginobili, Mills etc.) When you can go to the bench and not lose the flow of the offense through the guard position is huge especially come playoff time. The 2025-2026 San Antonio Spurs are the deepest team in the league, and that is in large part to their Guard/SF depth (Fox , Castle, Harper , Vassell, Julian, Keldon) all can handle the ball/ catch and shoot etc. So when you can have a PG on the floor for all 48min without losing production/Flow it is what separates good playoff teams to championship contenders. So Absolutely make the De'Aaron Fox trade everyday that ends in Y.

BREAKING: Sacramento is finalizing a trade to send De'Aaron Fox to the San Antonio Spurs in a multi-team trade that moves Chicago Bulls' Zach LaVine to the Kings, sources tell ESPN.

@RedNinetyFour Rockets need another big piece like Giannis, Trey Murphy, etc to keep up with OKC and SAS. Both of those teams look like young dynasties

Maybe I’m delusional, but I feel like this team with Amen Thompson at his natural wing position, and Reed Sheppard and Ayo Dosunmo sharing point guard duties, could have competed with anyone other than OKC.

I’m so interested in how Denver chooses to match up with the spurs when they are in man today(expecting to see a lot of zone). Usually when the opposing center is an actual offensive player they hide Jokic on some non shooter on the court, which vs the spurs would be castle but castle handles the ball and initiates offense and runs PnR A LOT in that starting line up, is it dare champagnie to shoot open corner 3’s…idk man

@tomhaberstroh Just sucks for the fans that we gave to try to seek out competitive games to watch. Then when we do get a competitive game, the stars are likely out

A-League teams went 7-0 vs. B-League teams last night and won by a collective 204 points (29.1 per game). Two different leagues
