For all the criticism Jim McGuinness got after last year’s final for not man-marking Paudie Clifford, not starting Hugh McFadden & Jason McGee in midfield that day was an even bigger mistake.
They completely dominated the kerry kick-out in the first half today.

We're in better shape for a tilt at Sam than I thought we'd be at the back of last July. Kerry still over whelming favourites for 2026, you won't see the like of that out of them again this year

Some interesting notes from McVay/Snead first offseason press conferences 1. Tutu Atwell likely to move on from the Rams due to the shift to heavy personnels and lack of involvement 2. Terrance Ferguson is a big sleeper for 2026. Tyler Higbee is a free agent and Colby Parkinson is a cut candidate due to a big 2026 cap hit. McVay also said Ferguson can play every skill position on the field including WR on the outside and in the slot

FWIW: The NFL’s goal is to have every team play an international game each season — meaning at least 16 international games per year — and I think that’s just the bare minimum. The league is clearly on a full-court press with its international push.
