When my grandmother was dying and the treatment was doing nothing, they accused her of drug seeking while she was screaming in pain as her entire bowel died from lack of blood flow (they did not know this was happening).
This was in appalachian Ohio and I can’t blame the docs very much for this at all

1775 to 1789 is also a black hole, except for military events—always described as if they were unconnected to American and especially British politics. So Americans lump the leftist revolution of 1776 and the rightist counterrevolution of 1789 together as “the Founders.” Sure ok

love this episode as a criticism of ai because it outwardly rejects the common “it looks bad” critique and shows how that isnt the point because ai is constantly getting better, the issue as the show correctly highlights is devaluing and discouraging human creativity
