Why should you be able to get away with heinous crimes like this if you’re a president, a prince, or a CEO? I wake up this morning with a lot of mixed thoughts on the news. I’m so grateful for the safe recovery of the airman who crashed in Iran while I continue to deeply oppose Trump’s war and am disgusted by his post this morning. I‘m so inspired by our astronauts closing in on the moon while I’m furious at the gutting of NASA and science as a whole in the President’s budget. There is so much good happening that can be often overshadowed and hard to see, but there is so much wrong happening that is just plain hard to watch. It doesn’t have to be this way. Let’s not accept this whiplash in our lives as the new normal. Let’s work with each other to do better.
