Assemblyman Barlas is on to something here🔎
The Attorney General confirmed New Jersey already has the funding in place for World Cup security.
So why would Democrats justify a sales tax increase by claiming it was needed to cover those costs?
If the money was already there, something doesn’t add up. 🤨

@TCrone7104 @njdotcom A lot of kids go to private schools in those districts

Grassroots! @HathawayForNJ11 NJ-11 special election April 16! So gratifying to get people on the phone who had a vague idea there was an election and be able to tell them about the candidates and text additional info after the call. A couple of people said it was the first time they had actually spoken with a political caller.

If you know people in Essex, Morris, or Passaic Counties, tell them to show up and vote for @HathawayForNJ11.
NJ-11 deserves better than what Mikie Sherrill left behind, and it’s time to take that seat back.

Hey North Jersey! There is overwhelming bipartisan support for @HathawayForNJ11. Please make sure to go and vote for common sense leadership and reject the candidate that is more aligned with the polices of socialist countries.

I don’t agree with you about the predominance of “mistaken antisemitism” but I do think there is a distinct difference between antisemitism and political critique. When mental health professionals in Time Square post viral videos of themselves calling Jewish tourists “baby killers” that’s blatant antisemitism, not political critique. Let’s at least agree there’s a fairly blurry line right now and it is infused with irrational hate directed at Jews.
English

Right now, a lot of what’s being labeled as “antisemitism” is actually anger directed at the leadership of Israel, specifically at Benjamin Netanyahu and the decisions being made under his government.
When you blur that line, two dangerous things happen:
First, you shield political leaders from legitimate criticism by labeling all dissent as hate.
Second, you unfairly place that criticism onto Jewish people around the world who have nothing to do with those decisions.
When accusations are overused or applied too broadly, people stop listening altogether. It creates fatigue, confusion, and makes it harder to have real, honest conversations about what governments are doing.
No group of people should have to carry the weight of decisions made by political leaders.
I think people should stop carrying water for Bibi, especially when up to 60% of Israeli’s don’t trust him or approve of his leadership.

Good article in the @Setonian highlighting Joe Hathaway’s local leadership and why he would make a great Congressman for NJ!
It’s disappointing his opponent declined an interview with the Setonian and did not participate in the LWV forum - both important opportunities to engage voters.
CD-11 residents, including many Seton Hall grads, deserve that transparency.

@AmandaJonz @HathawayForNJ11 Why would Jews vote for the Palestine Party?
English

CD-11 we must find a way to elect @HathawayForNJ11 - every Jew in this district needs to get out and vote! This is an existential crises!!! The early voting thus far is heavily democratic - PLEASE get out and vote for Joe Hathaway

@marin72655 @sidrosenberg19 This is appalling conduct and very scary that she is proud of it. I look to my non Jewish anti-racist/ antibigot peers to condemn this atrocious behavior .

This weekend, two of the world’s most sacred holidays overlap on the calendar. Easter and Passover share more than a season — they share a story. A story about suffering endured and overcome, about sacrifice, and about moving from darkness into light.
The men and women of the NYPD carry this story forward — not in scripture, but in the streets of NYC. In the safer neighborhood, the crime that didn’t happen, the lives saved. It’s consequential. And the work of building a safer New York is, at its core, the same work: moving people from darkness into light.
Happy Easter and Chag Sameach!
