Some of my clients are being forced to retire because the amount of the lump sum retirement package that they will receive goes down as interest rates go up. If they wait until next year to retire, they could lose 20%. So, they are facing sudden retirement. A story @kairyssdal.

@tomjohnson Consider adding toe cages to your pedals to keep your feet from slipping off. I prefer them over clip pedals because I'm afraid if I fall I won't be able to get my feet loose and will twist a knee. And on the toe cages I cut them down from 4 inches to 2. That's all I need.

I'm now getting more into mountain biking, thanks to the encouragement of a friend. I find that 1 hr of mtn biking on some up-and-down trails is quite an active workout. Here's a pic from the Lake Desire trail system in Renton, Washington.
