“You don’t produce anything.” Tucker Carlson completely nails the sad decline of British based industry and manufacturing and its devastating impact on so many communities.

Britain used to be led by men like this. • Sent to stop an assembling invasion force • Face impossible odds • Invent new battle doctrine on the spot • Lead from the front (suicide) • Win decisively! • Capture ALL enemy ships • Unexpectedly achieve total naval supremacy • Unexpectedly achieve global hegemony that lasts for 200 years. • Bleed out onboard your shattered flagship HMS Victory No other man has ever experienced such an afternoon.

@happyswed @Sanslovesketchu But to answer your question explicitly. A bar is a public place, therefore you have no reasonable expectation of privacy. So anyone can talk to anyone. If you make it clear that you don't want to talk to someone and they persist, then that is harassment.

your on grindr, which is a location based hookup app, someone dms you saying they THINK they’ve seen you before, not in a stalker way just in a “oh i’ve seen you in passing” type of way, you’re 30 so an actual adult and yet you felt unsafe even though you’re on a hookup app(1/2)

@happyswed @Sanslovesketchu That's also not what accosting is. You can't just use words incorrectly to alter reality. What you're suggesting is that anytime someone speaks to someone they don't know, they're committing harassment. Which is obviously not the case.

Opinion on this is mixed tbh, I do think it’s maybe a bit creepy but like, you are consenting to be on an app that shares your location and then using it at work 🤷‍♂️

@Luke050 @Sanslovesketchu Well, that's not the same because now your just running up bothering a rando in public. It's more like a speed dating event where you sit down with the next person and say "hey, haven't I seen you before, do'nt you work at Freshco?"

@Emarged This is common misconception. Hugo Boss didn’t design the uniforms, they just had a contract to make them.

It still cracks me up that you hear 'I'm an NHS worker' every now and then. Can remember two fat, miserable women in 2024 kicking off at a guard because a train arrived on a different platform, shouting 'We work for the NHS' as if the train ought to be re-routed out of respect.

Woman knocks on students door over them parking in the streets and it all blows up this is one of the most funny and ridiculous encounters I've ever seen 😂😂

@ramprasad_c To get people out the back of a C17 they were refusing to leave, the pilot took off, did a few laps of the aerodrome, landed, and told them they were somewhere else. Worked a treat.

100 Mile Race Complete. Wish I had better news about my performance. Sadly, anything that could have gone wrong did. The temps wiped me out, and I never recovered from it. I found myself unable to pee for about 8 hours and had to walk the last 25 miles. I’ll be out for a while.😮‍💨

This ‘funny’ scene in Saving Private Ryan captures perfectly what Veterans have often described as "fog of war", where soldiers would end up in hand-to-hand combat using mess kits, rocks, or helmets when their primary weapons failed in close combat.
