Due Diligence always comes due, for everyone. At some point in time we have to sit down, take stock, analyze the past, try to predict the future, and pick a path. What I’m trying to say is that life teaches you how to acquire, learn, and grow a business. We just have to listen.

@omarali50 @GhotalePatil It’s the scale of India that ensures this sort of commentary will remain inevitable. Since time immemorial the west has been unable to define India. You say India, the market just appears. Whatever that trade might be. Behti ganga mein hath dho lena etc.

it is not just that.. Muslim elites obviously do not identify with this story, but neither do modern Leli Indians and that is the unique part.. It will evolve into something workable though bcz no middle income country will be without nationalist stories, it is part of the package.. It is just a bit sad that capable (as in relatively intelligent) people are already committed to streams that will dry up as India develops more and western hegemony declines.. it is a sad waste of talent..

This is an undeniable truth. Some of the largest Harappan civilisation cities: 1) Harappa (Pakistani Punjab). 2) Mohenjodaro (Sindh, Pakistan). 3) Ganweriwala (Pakistani Punjab). 4) Kot Diji (Sindh, Pakistan). 5) Mehrgarh (Balochistan, Pakistan).
Audrey Truschke@AudreyTruschke

@AnujSha27929766 I'm not familiar with a numbers-to-numbers comparison. But the big cities were definitely around the Indus River, in what's now Pakistan. Is that inconvenient for Indian nationalism? Maybe, but that's not my problem.

@SagasofBharat @stereotype_bong All of this will correct itself once India has economic might. Winners write history. The nation is beginning to question outside in narratives, instead of accepting them. This is progress. Soon India and Indians will be setting the narrative. It’s inevitable.

Entire RW is outraging over Audrey Truschke's proto-elamite identification of Pasupati Seal. But didn't see a single correct refutation of her comment. RW really lack academic vigour. P.S Ancient Indian civilization & Ancient Iran have a lot of striking similarities.

Even before the case, we must challenge the sheer audacity of a White woman in the US telling the Indian Ministry of Culture that she knows what Indian culture better than them is staggering. Can any Indian ever get away directing something like this towards America? This happens

@CELEST1ALB0UND @nikicaga Is that why they begged Indians to return? Indians don’t care what you think. We’ll figure it out and we’ll do better. One Indian family that left Uganda, settled in the UK. Their son went on to become the PM representing the Conservative Party. You will die, we will build.

@nikicaga Actually this was probably one of the smarter things Amin did, though cruel it does actually prioritize the natives/locals and keep them from being shut out from high ranking roles in their own country Don't be disingenuous

@advsanjoy @d_s_thakur Are you joking? They will be coming into Muslim homes and mosques for that, with huge DJs. Looks like this time Durga Puja will be very scary. The government is weaponising everything it lays its hands on.

@TheSanjivKapoor It’s a terrible airport compared to other metros. Loos are terrible. Massive wasted man power. AAI employees just milling about. During TMC times tolabaji was rampant. I fly through it regularly. Nothing much has changed for the better in the last 5 years. Why misrepresent?

Clueless comment from someone who has clearly never been there, but still feels qualified to comment. The background is the old, decommissioned terminal. These photos is the new one. It is BLR T2? No. But it is not a bad terminal, especially considering it is an AAI airport.

If Hinduism doesn’t convert or proselytize, as is claimed by Hindu Brahmins migrating to the west, then why are there White people walking around who’ve changed their names to Hindu names?

Your audacity is genuinely mind-blowing. Pakistan has not gone around systematically renaming dozens upon dozens of cities, districts, roads, railway stations, and historical places to fit an ideological narrative. And in India this is your track record👇 Allahabad ➡️ Prayagraj Faizabad ➡️ Ayodhya Aurangabad ➡️ Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Osmanabad ➡️ Dharashiv Gurgaon ➡️ Gurugram Bangalore ➡️ Bengaluru Bombay ➡️ Mumbai Madras ➡️ Chennai Calcutta ➡️ Kolkata Mysore ➡️ Mysuru Mangalore ➡️ Mangaluru Baroda ➡️ Vadodara Trivandrum ➡️ Thiruvananthapuram Cochin ➡️ Kochi Pondicherry ➡️ Puducherry Orissa ➡️ Odisha Uttaranchal ➡️ Uttarakhand Port Blair ➡️ Sri Vijaya Puram Karimganj ➡️ Sribhumi Proposed / Demanded Changes: Ahmedabad ➡️ Karnavati Agra ➡️ Agravan Aligarh ➡️ Harigarh Lucknow ➡️ Lakshmanpuri Hyderabad ➡️ Bhagyanagar Ahmednagar ➡️ Ahilyanagar Muzaffarnagar ➡️ Laxminagar Sultanpur ➡️ Kushbhavanpur Deoband ➡️ Devvrind Shimla ➡️ Shyamala Pune ➡️ Jijaunagar Delhi ➡️ Indraprastha Meanwhile in Pakistan 👇 ▪️ Sir Ganga Ram Hospital ,still proudly carries the name of a Hindu philanthropist. ▪️ Bombay Bakery, still exists with the same name despite decades of tensions with India. ▪️ Dayaram Jethmal Science College, Hindu Sindhi name retained. ▪️ BVS Parsi High School, named after Behramji Byramji, still respected. ▪️ Cowasjee Foundation, Parsi heritage openly preserved. ▪️ Mohatta Palace, named after Hindu businessman Shivratan Mohatta, not erased. ▪️ Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre still has departments and roads named after non-Muslim contributors.
sushant sareen@sushantsareen

Who changed the names in the first place? This is nothing but a clumsy attempt to project Pakistan as a progressive state. It doesn't change either the nature of the state, or the Hindu hating character of the state. Remember what the defender of this regime said about the differences between Hindus and Muslims? Thats the reality; this is the lipstick on the pig

Saying that India has "Founding Parents" (which is absolutely hilarious lol) is just pure American mimicry lol. India is a nation that is thousands of years old and has no "Founding Parents"...
Aninda Sardar@anindasardar

Watching India's official response to a journalist and videos of a press conference, I realised all over again that over and above everything else, what we have lost in the last decade is the dignity that our founding parents had fought so hard for.

India doesnot just copy Pakistani music and dramas, it copies the identity of the people behind them,Sanam Saeed gets nominated at an international award ceremony and suddenly she is " South Asian actress", on Indian social media, her Pakistani nationality just quickly disappears. This is pattern not accident, over a hundred documented songs lifted across six decades, drama storylines repackaged for Indian networks, ancient cities on Pakistani soil are often rebranded as "Indian heritage ", the selective use of South Asia only ever applies to talent that is not Indian and only ever comes from one side of the border . Pakistan calls Afghan celebrities Afghan, Indian actors Indians but when it comes to Pakistan they suddenly become "South Asian ".

Equal rights?? Muslims are still being lynched in the name of cows, Muslim activists are languishing in jail without trial, Muslims are facing bulldozers and systematic discrimination, mosques and Islamic festivals are being targeted. Where are equal rights?
ANI@ANI

#WATCH | Oslo, Norway | MEA Secretary (West) Sibi George says, "...We are one sixth of the total population of the world, but not one sixth of the problems of the world. We have a constitution which guarantees the fundamental rights of the people. We have equal rights for the women of our country, which is very important...We believe in equality, we believe in human rights...If anyone whose rights are violated, they have the right to go to court...We are proud to be a democracy..."

Many journalists have been asking me whether this GenZ movement will turn into what happened in Nepal or Bangladesh. Let me make this absolutely clear. Do not insult or underestimate the GenZ of India by making such comparisons. The youth of this country are far more mature, aware, and politically conscious than many give them credit for. They understand their constitutional rights and will express their dissent through peaceful and democratic means. And please, do not demean them. Many of these young people are far more educated and informed than those currently running the government.
