🚨To every Black person tempted by the antisemitic wave sweeping right now:🚨 Back when white mobs lynched us in the streets... When we had no money, no power, and literally no movement... Who stood with us? Who risked everything? The Jews. They weren't just allies—they were family in the fight. - Jewish leaders co-founded the NAACP in 1909 and funded/led it for generations when no one else would. - When Dr. King and our people were arrested, beaten, jailed—Jewish lawyers defended us for free, and Jewish money paid bail bonds and court fees while others turned away. - In Freedom Summer '64, half the white volunteers risking death to register Black voters? Jewish. - Rabbi Heschel marched arm-in-arm with MLK in Selma—our struggles linked forever. Without their blood, treasure, solidarity, and courage—there is no Civil Rights Movement as we know it. No Voting Rights Act. No dream realized. That's why I stand with the Jews. They were our only true friends when this country hated us—when doors slammed shut and ropes hung high. They showed up, bled, and built with us. So to my people joining this demonic, divisive hate today: Pause. Remember. Honor the alliance that freed us. Our histories are bound. Our freedoms were won together. Betray that, and you betray the very martyrs who died for our rights. Black-Jewish unity forged the dream. Don't let hate destroy it. I stand with my Jewish brothers and sisters—always. ✊🏾🤝✡️🇮🇱 Repost if truth > trends. If gratitude > division. If history matters. #BlackJewishAlliance #RememberOurAllies #StandTogether #CivilRightsTruth #NoToAntisemitism

@GhostofSwiftH They can’t. That’s why the foal count keeps dropping. You can’t keep breeding for a horse that even if it makes the races has a slim chance of making that much over the course of its racing career.

So if a Trainer charges $115-$150 day rate and some are losing $ on day rate for care of horse and pay workers. Owners are getting billed roughly 4500-6k a month for horse. How does the mid level trainer survive?

If you are a gambler in the state of Arizona things you can’t do anymore. 1 Bet Harness Racing 2 Bet Greyhound Racing 3 Bet any thoroughbred racing from New Mexico 4 Betting on Los Alamitos is hit or miss on night time racing there. Sometimes they take it sometimes they don’t. We can do all the Sports gambling we want and we have Indian Casinos. What is going on here? Also the Best Race Track in Arizona is now a Motocross track.

@HarrahsPompano I am waiting a half hour to get my voucher from a self service betting machine that got stuck. There needs to be someone servicing the horse room. There are plenty of people in the casino downstairs working but no one here. Not good

@mstanton1975 @Jackpotkimm CAWs ? I know I cut way back. If you bet a front runner expect your price to get cut by a quarter or more at the end and if it’s a closer that gets a big drop in price you’re probably not going to win unless you bet that horse. Sorry I have to say this but it’s true more than not

@TheoFleury14 @stoolpresidente The only thing worse than 3X3 to decide an Olympic Gold Medal is a shootout to decide the winner of the Champions League and World Cup soccer after months of tournament play

@stoolpresidente Or here’s a thought stay out of the conversation and let the hockey people talk. 3 on 3 isn’t hockey it’s a gimmick that doesn’t in any way shape or form belong in hockey at the highest level to decide an Olympic gold medal.

Or here is a thought. Be better at 3 on 3 hockey. Or score on 5-3. Or don’t miss a wide open net. Lots of crying coming out of Canada’s locker room. You hate to see it.

Jon Cooper on the 3-on-3 OT: "You take four players off the ice, now hockey’s not hockey anymore. There’s a reason overtime and shootouts are in play — it’s all TV-driven to end games, so it’s not a long time. There’s a reason why it's not in the Stanley Cup final or playoffs"

@NFL_Convo I couldn’t tell and that’s the point. In tennis with balls traveling 100mph they can tell by a millimeter if it lands in or out but the NFL won’t use technology for calls like that. Sidelines, goal and end lines, and line to gain should be monitored

@SharporSquare_ @SimonHunterNFL I don’t think people realize how hard it is to pick 5 games a week and have the record they have. If you have a 1-4 week you need a 4-1 and a 3-2 week just to get back to profitable. Listen to as many shows you can to get as much information you can and you’ll be a better bettor

@bostonred88 I worked in the industry for about 30 years. It would be impossible to get that kind of action in Las Vegas now with all the consolidation. If there are 8 different companies that have independent numbers each one would have to take 50K Even the biggest whale would have trouble

@TomRyanKY As for California if they don’t do something about their purses why would anyone run for $60k when they can run that same horse for $100k elsewhere?

California racing just got dealt another brutal blow. In a year when this sport should be doing everything possible to stabilize a fragile circuit, the loss of Grade I status for the Frank E. Kilroe Mile and multiple downgrades at Santa Anita and Del Mar is very concerning. When you strip premier events in the middle of a wagering and field-size crisis, you’re not “protecting the integrity of the pattern,” you’re accelerating the decline of one of the game’s few remaining flagship jurisdictions. This outcome might look neat on a spreadsheet, but on the ground in California it means fewer top-class opportunities, weaker cards, and less incentive for owners to keep investing in this circuit. Hard to talk about “national balance” when Kentucky adds a Grade I turf sprint and fresh upgrades at Churchill and Kentucky Downs, while California absorbs a net loss in graded quality. At a time when the industry says it wants West Coast stability, this grading slate feels like the exact opposite of leadership.

@TomRyanKY The most pressing issue is the steep drop in foal crops The breeding industry has raised the stud fees and costs so high that the smaller breeders have pulled out. Good horses come from everywhere, think Seattle Slew, but only if there are enough horses being bred will it happen

@RepoleStable @jockeyclub @BreedersCup @TOBAhorses @NTRA @hisa_us I have a suggestion. The way tracks try lowering takeout and compare handle why not decrease the number of pick 3,4, 5s, and superfectas and high5s? All they do is put a lot of money in the hands of a few at the expense of most. If it doesn’t work at least you tried.

Shoot first, ask questions later??? Mr. Negative??? 🤔 Ray, for 20 years, whether it was you or that other dinosaur, Joe Drape (who, thanks to me, is now extinct from this sport), you, @jockeyclub, @BreedersCup, @TOBAhorses, @NTRA and now even @hisa_us have done the same exact thing. Shoot first. Ask questions never. Intimidate. Bully. Blackball anyone who steps out of line from your pheasant-hunting club…and then have your two media henchmen, Drape and you, clean it up in print. Ray, you live in the 10% minority of everything I post…the tiny, offended group that can’t handle the brutal truth about the state of this sport. And you’re failing miserably at your job as the Jockey Club’s henchman. I’ve exposed the farce, and it’s clearly eating you alive. You guys are the root of 90% of the issues!!!!! What you label as “Mr. Negativity” is really the industry finally having a disruptor who actually cares about the ENTIRE game, not just protecting the blue-blood aristocracy. I speak up for: - Horseplayers who get screwed daily - Owners treated like garbage - Trainers treated like criminals - Jockeys treated like cheaters We’ve had enough. Meanwhile, the same entitled people hide behind the fake storyline that they “care about the horses” while aftercare is embarrassingly underfunded and a ban on exporting horses for slaughter sadly still doesn’t exist. Spare us the f$&king hypocrisy!!!!! Here’s the truth: I’m a disruptor, a purposeful asshole, and a force of nature and I’m proud of it because someone needs to force REAL change from the old guard who’ve run this sport straight into the ground. And yes…I’ll continue to treat you and the Jockey Club exactly how you treat pheasants. I’ve got 75% of the vocal majority and 95% of the silent majority behind me. 🚨 If you’re fed up with this broken industry and agree it’s time for REAL change and REAL accountability retweet or like this post. Show these dishonest and incompetent leaders we’ve had enough and show them the unity they F$&King Fear!!!!! Retweet or Like!!!!! LFG!!!!! ♥️ 🙏 💪

@RepoleStable @jockeyclub @BreedersCup @TOBAhorses @NTRA @hisa_us The economy is similar to the plight of the horse racing industry. The top end is fine but the middle and low end of the market continues to shrink . CAWs are a problem but unless the horse population stops its decline, racing will be finished. Mike is right. Change is needed

‡ Forever Young "He will stay in training in 2026 as long as he stays in sound condition. His next race will be the Saudi Cup followed by the Dubai World Cup as his spring campaign." The above quote is from the BC notes, and is welcome news. While it is true that his sire, Real Steel, is not fashionable, and that Forever Young is his only Gr. I winner to date, the colt's bottom-line is quite good (see attached Weatherbys pedigree), so to keep him in training is an admirably sporting gesture. Hats off to the colt's owner, Susumu Fujita! The touching, attached photo of Forever Young, embraced by his trainer, Yoshito Yahagi, the morning after the BC, was taken by Alex Evers @A_Evers. I strongly recommend following him, as he not only produces outstanding images, but also generously chooses not to mar them with copyright notices.

@LewisFi63068776 @Tinky47flat That is exactly why the foal count keeps dropping. If something isn’t done this will be a death spiral because eventually the cost to buy a horse and get it to the races will be prohibitive to most.

@Tinky47flat The breeding & sales are the main factor why horse racing exists now. Small breeders & stables are being squeezed out.I just love following horses & their careers,no matter what level they compete in. And all the $$ in world can't buy the "heart" of the next KY DERBY winner.

@RepoleStable The three best horses on that day ran in the top three. Without the “rabbit “ the finishing order MAY have been different. Unfortunately we’ll never know just like we won’t know how Sovereignty would have done if healthy. All speculation which makes this game fun and interesting

One last comment on the Breeders’ Cup Classic. The irony is that without the emotional support rabbit, the pace would have been faster with Fierceness and Forever Young on the lead. That setup ironically, would have given Sierra Leone a much better chance to win. Looking back at the Jockey Club Gold Cup, you could easily say the same thing: having the emotional support rabbit in the race also cost Sierra Leone a better shot at winning. I can’t imagine all the second guessing going on with the connections. This is exactly what happens when you have a turf trainer making big dirt decisions. 🤦‍♂️ 😂 😂 🤣
