I accepted not receiving my State Pension until I’m 67yrs instead of 60yrs because we were told the country couldn’t afford it, but it grates on me now when they have been able to find the money for unknown people that have rocked up on our shores who have never contributed a single penny. This is wrong & totally unfair.

I hope receiving this from a nobody adds in some small way to what you already have holding you up at this wholly difficult time. The emotions of all types that you may experience at each stage in the day, show that celebrating all they were counted, and that they’ll never be forgotten. I went to see my dad for the last time today at the funeral home. He’s at peace. He looked so smart in his wedding suit and favourite shirt and tie. I tucked a card into his jacket telling him how much I loved him and thanked him for being the best dad. #broken #RIP

Alzheimer’s caregiving is exhausting, overwhelming, and extremely lonely. My world consists of taking care of my 89 year old mom 24/7 by myself. I am happy that I can take care of my mom, but I’m always sad, depressed, and isolated. I had surgery on March 19th, and now my incision has reopened because I haven’t been able to take care of myself. All you caregivers are not alone. We are in this together.
