@RasmusJarlov We have our own sport we call football and we’ve called it that for over 150 years. It would be dumb and confusing to call another sport football as well. And what difference does it really make what we call it anyway? It’s the same sport whether its called soccer or football.

@theMadridZone @elmundoes This is going to cause issues. Can see it now. Defenders purposefully positioning themselves to run into an attacker to insinuate a block. That's all football is these days - ways to cheat and simulate fouls. Players don't care to play football sportsmanlike anymore.

My morning so far…I feel the need to get this off my chest 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️ At London Waterloo I tried to board my train as soon as the platform was announced, but my ticket wouldn’t scan. Showed the guy my ticket & asked him to pls let me through the barriers. He said ‘no, you need to use your ticket’. I showed him ticket & explained it wouldn’t scan. He shrugged & told me to ‘go & see that woman there’. Woman had a queue of people so I asked if she could let me through, she told me ‘no, you have to wait your turn’. I waited, but conscious I only had minutes left, in desperation, I tried to buy another ticket at the machine, but the contactless wasn’t working. I tried to get another via the app, but it wouldn’t work (presumably because now, it was so close to departure?). Anyway, I returned to the barrier exasperated. Please, I said to ‘the woman’, can you help me because I really need to board the train which is about to depart. ‘No. Wait your turn’ was again the response. I went to two other staff members at the gates & showed them my ticket and said ‘please, can you just let me through the barriers’. ‘No, she needs to say we can’ was the response. Anyway, you guessed it - I missed the train.😩🤬 As I said to all the staff members, if I had just turned up to the train & barged through the barriers, ticket-less, as so many seem to do these days, I would have been happily on the train and en route to the destination… Makes me wonder why we bother trying to do the right thing 🤷‍♀️ Argh! Anyway, I feel better now having got that off my chest! 😉

@PolitlcsUK I recently flew to Belfast from London for a family death. EasyJet both ways no ID required AT ALL because we're in the UK. If it is easy to travel to Ire because of single movement EU, get into NI easily, what's stopping easy travel to England, Wales, Scotland with limited ID?

@Hartopodetodo @hiaphilo @Argenpoirot Yeah I'm sorry this is incorrect. In the UK, in no way are motorcycles "allowed" to drive on the wrong side of the road and it is not an unwritten norm to do so. It is illegal although that doesn't mean it stops them doing so but they are wrong to do so.

@TheLfcKop It turned into SlothBall - too slow, too predictable. His 1st season was much better although still frustrating at times with how slow it was. Pre-season of his 1st year was great with the youngsters and Harvey was used until his injury who was a maestro. No idea what changed.

Look at Slot ball man. They can never convince me this guy is a bad coach
