Comparing June 14-July 13 periods this year and in 2022, the number of physicians posting on Twitter decreased by 13% (73,371 vs 63,957) and the number of physician posts decreased by 21% (3,420,696 vs 2,718,280), according data shared by @HealthQuant medpagetoday.com/special-report…

"What should infuriate people is that this is all public-sponsored research, right? So we're paying twice for it as taxpayers -- once when we invest in the research, because NIH grants are all funded by taxpayer dollars, and then we pay for it again when we buy it off the shelf."
