i specifically remember the video itself having like a million annotations covering the screen back when that was a thing and it was mostly like bible verses and a bunch of neo spiritual stuff, might be why they namedrop edgar cayce(?) at the end of the video for some reason

Everytime i see someone suggest Slenderman's name to be "The Operator" in DbD i wanna claw my own eyeballs out.
I NEED DbD fans (and Slenderman fans) to understand these two are not the same character; they've definitely taken inspiration from eachother— no doubt about it— BUT

@FNaF4DBD The operator is the original Slenderman stuff. The series came out a few weeks after the original images, and established much of the tropes that would be synonymous with Slenderman. If BHVR goes to the very beginning, he’d be The Operator
