@Buckyball9000 @TheInsiderPaper Wanting involvement and absorbing the consequences aren’t the same thing.
Where does that trade-off start to matter?
English

@Omixintel @TheInsiderPaper Are you kidding. The Europeans have been begging us to be MORE involved in Europe for the last decade.
English

@Conflict_Radar Yeah, but why now? Lunatics have them all over the world.
Lessons were learned in Egypt.
English

@barstoolsports Policy makers just steeped away for 10 days.
Markets are acting like it’s under control.
What happens now?
English

@dochorttx @thefoodbabe @HighWireTalk @RepLuna @RepThomasMassie @chelliepingree I get the compliance point.
The open question is how a federal ‘lawful use’ standard interacts with state tort claims especially failure-to-warn.
That’s where the concern rests.
English

@Omixintel @thefoodbabe @HighWireTalk @RepLuna @RepThomasMassie @chelliepingree Status quo. States/localities can force new labels. Sue companies when alleged damage occurs, even when using the product as the label describes. It's an impossible melange of hurdles for a company to navigate, increasing prices, limiting producer options, and helping no one.
English

CONGRESS must vote YES for Luna Amendment (#28) to the Farm Bill to remove pesticide liability language. I will be on @HighWireTalk later today to publicly shame all the members who vote against it. Let's go!!! @RepLuna @RepThomasMassie @chelliepingree #MAHA #FoodBabeArmy
English

@dochorttx @thefoodbabe @HighWireTalk @RepLuna @RepThomasMassie @chelliepingree So what’s the bill actually doing then?
Do you think it makes it easier or harder to hold companies accountable?
English

@Omixintel @thefoodbabe @HighWireTalk @RepLuna @RepThomasMassie @chelliepingree Maybe someone can educate me, but I don’t see how this provides immunity for chemical companies

English

@dochorttx @thefoodbabe @HighWireTalk @RepLuna @RepThomasMassie @chelliepingree What do you see?
What have we missed?
English

@Omixintel @thefoodbabe @HighWireTalk @RepLuna @RepThomasMassie @chelliepingree Please tell where 10207 said anything about immunity. You’ve all been duped.
English

@RepThomasMassie Now that’s purpose with clarity.
What can tackle next? The voters are making a list of achievements.
English

I notified leadership that I will object to Unanimous Consent of reauthorization of FISA without warrants even if it’s just for 45 days. We already extended this once. And the House just sent the Senate a bill. How weak are we if they jam us and we accept it by unanimous consent?
Burgess Everett@burgessev
Senators are heading home for recess, they seem to think there will be action extending FISA but not a roll call vote, either unanimous consent or voice vote this afternoon. Key surveillance powers expire in 9 hours; House hasn't left town ... yet
English

@ewarren Fair point. Fewer players also mean fewer options.
That trade-off doesn't disappear when the industry changes.
Where do you draw the line?
English

@sentdefender The market doesn't trust the story.
It's positioning for something else...
are you watching it or just the headlines?
English

Most people watched the Farm Bill debate.
They missed what actually mattered.”
Pages of policy.
Endless arguments.
Political framing from every angle.
But it all came down to one question:
Should something that can cause harm be protected from liability?
That’s it.
Everything else was just noise.
Clarity isn’t complicated.
People just avoid it.
See it early or react late.
DMs open, let’s add value to your decision process.

English

@Ilhan The signal isn't your vote, it's the positioning.
Feels like coalition building with people who weren't the focus before... or am I reading that wrong?
English

@JohnKiriakou @PutinBotGaming It's now about validation of clarity. Not reviews or comments.
English

@NancyMace @A1Policy The best move so far has been the seperation of the issues. Present one at a time. Full transparency.
English

@Polymarket The signal say the peak is way out in the distance.
English

@RepThomasMassie Big win for accountability.
Products shouldn't have the ability to cause harm and avoid liability.
English

Huge win for states rights and MAHA!
The special provisions for pesticides (and herbicides like glyphosate) was just stripped from the farm bill by an overwhelming majority!
Republican Cloakroom@RepCloakroom
The Rep. Luna (R-FL) Amendment No. 28 Adopted - 280 Yeas, 142 Nays
English

@NancyMace The farm bill, especially around pesticides.
The data say on thing.
The protection say another.
So what actually drives the policy?
