#Movie33 | #Drishyam3 (movie 31 and 32 were Top Gun & Top Gun Maverick- rewatch) DCP: 4K 7.1 | Screen: 2K Dolby 7.1 Review: ★★½☆☆ Second half is genuinely solid and makes for a very compelling watch. The cinematography in #Drishyam3 is beautiful, much like most films from Kerala, largely because of the natural locations and grounded visual style that give the film an authentic texture. That said, I do feel the writing is comparatively weaker this time, especially in the way the story builds toward the climax and the climax itself. Unlike the first two films, this sequel feels less like a naturally progressing continuation and more like a sequel that exists because the franchise is successful. Still, the second half recovers the overall experience quite well and keeps you invested. Overall, it’s a decent one-time watch. I’m genuinely intrigued to see what @ajaydevgn and the Hindi adaptation do with this story, because this particular installment may not work as effectively in Hindi the way the first two versions did if the story is same. Also, in the post credit scene, what Geetha says, it leaves you wondering if the part 4 is coming or not, but I feel, now they should give up on Georgekutty and his family and shouldn’t make anymore movie in this series.

#Obsession at Dolby Cinema *technical* - Firstly, Dolby Cinema would be the best venue considering a few factors. Secondly, I'm not able to technically comment on this movie since there was a content delay & i got to watch the regular/SDR version. I personally did not like the SDR version, this movie is mostly set in the dark, hence it could've taken full advantage of the Dolby Vision DCP.
