So let me get this straight, ZIMRA wants to tax content creators yet Zimbabwe is not monetized on almost all platforms, creators connect to other markets via VPNs or using peers, they also pay taxes in those countries but now ZIMRA wants a piece of that cake.. this js just greed!

AFRICAN MEN: THEIR OBSESSION WITH EUROPEAN FOOTBALL This post isn't to say people shouldn't watch sports, to be more specific football. But it's to condemn the unhealthy obsession many African men have with football To be more precise European football, it would be least embarrassing if they were obsessed with their own football leagues Fooball is great as entertainment, it should remain that. No man with a fulfilling life should have his mood ruined by other men losing at something they are paid for If you observe, the average African man invests more emotion into European football than he invests in his own country's state of affairs or continent's state They'll be more angry at a player for changing a club, getting injured, failing to score etc than they'll be at their local politicians who steal their taxes and loot their resources They'll know a player's stats and historiy more than they know their local politicians stats or history. They'll analyse patterns of football teams more than they analyse their own lives Do you honestly think a man who is in control of his life and doing well in life will have time to be affected his mood because of football or any other sport? You're a loser if you spend much of your time watching other men make money and even get affected by it, whilst you're not doing anything productive with your life Find purpose, stop masking a lack of direction with being a football fanatic

RUFU NDI MADZONGONYEDZE.😭💔💔🕊🕊🕊 At a time when the CHRISTIAN community in Zimbabwe and across the world was celebrating the EASTER HOLIDAYS, I learnt with DEEP SHOCK the HEARTBREAKING news of a road traffic accident in which SIX LIVES were lost in the most painful and UNIMAGINABLE way. Those precious and YOUNG lives lost were all from the MUJURU FAMILY. I was out of the Country when this TRAGEDY happened, and I am even more SADDENED that our dear brother RONALD MUJURU, lost his beloved WIFE and all FIVE of his CHILDREN in this gruesome accident. May their dear souls rest in ETERNAL PEACE. 🕊️ It is the most difficult and UNIMAGINABLE thing for any parent to bury a CHILD, but to bury FIVE CHILDREN and at the same time, bury your WIFE is the MOST HORRENDOUS thing that no human heart should ever be asked to endure. My brother Ronald, NO WORDS can ever console you, nor can they restore what has been taken, and no one can imagine waking up to such a CRUEL REALITY. The loss of an entire family dims the very PURPOSE of waking up each day and WORKING HARD for those we LOVE the most. I share this grief as a Zimbabwean and as your own HOMEBOY from Zabe in Chivhu, which is so close to our Wiltshire Commercial Farms in Gandami where I was born and raised. I wish to extend my deepest appreciation to our amazing FIRST LADY, Amai Auxillia Mnangagwa, who demonstrated that she is indeed the MOTHER OF THE NATION by personally coming to console you and your family in your DARKEST HOUR. Such a gesture demonstrated the true spirit of UBUNTU that binds us together as Zimbabweans. I also acknowledge with respect our Homeboy and MP the Hon. Minister of Transport Felix Mhona , who also personally paid his CONDOLENCES and attended the funeral. In moments such as these, we are reminded that beyond any DIFFERENCES of opinion or persuasion, we are ONE PEOPLE. We mourn together, we COMFORT each other and we carry one another through SORROW as the Holy Bible commands us in Romans 12:15 and 2 Corinthians 1 3-4. While I fully respect the PRIVACY and DIGNITY that this deeply painful moment demands, I feel DUTY-BOUND, as your brother and as a patriotic Zimbabwean who understands LOSS, to extend my condolences. In that spirit, and WITHOUT any desire for RECOGNITION or attention, but purely as a TOKEN of LOVE in our African tradition yekupa CHEMA, I say to my dear brother Ronald, please GO AND SEE VICTOR at Exquisite Car Dealership and collect a brand spanking new 2026 Toyota Fortuner 2,8 GD6 valued at USD 80 000. You will also receive CHEMA of US$50,000 in cash as a humble gesture to support you as you PICK UP yourself from this DEVASTATING and PAINFULL loss. This is all from the bottom of my heart and by no means intended to gain any mileage at the expense of your GRIEF, but a small token to lessen the EMOTIONAL PAIN and unimaginable AGONY you are carrying. My brother RONALD, I am DEEPLY SORRY for your loss, and though nothing can ever heal this wound, I pray that the HOLY SPIRIT becomes your COMFORTER during this difficult time. May the souls of your beloved wife and children rest in ETERNAL PEACE until we are reunited again in the land of EVERLASTING LIFE… 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🕊️🕊🕊

4/16 The article itself is a masterclass in PR technique. 20 carefully chosen biographical points. Humble origins. Hard work. Black empowerment. Charity. 4,000 jobs. Not one word about the Al Jazeera documentary that had just dropped. You don't accidentally forget a documentary that named your subject. You are paid to forget it.

1/16 In 2023, @matinyarare wrote an article called "Twenty Reasons Why I Support Simon Rudland." He led it with a photo of himself, smiling, inside Rudland's own offices. In 2026, he is leading the campaign against CAB3. These are not two separate stories. This is one story. 🧵

Rumours say that NRZ is about to release brand new models of its trains. They have new engines but look like the ones from the 80s. The new design didn’t change from the one from 100 years ago because it’s well suited for our African Savannah and railway system 😂 See how ridiculous that sounds? If you don’t gerrit, just forget about it.

Find a Catholic Bishop and kiss them on the cheek. If they are too shy, kiss them on the lips. This, good people, is what people who affect to lead people and speak on behalf of God must do. Straight as an arrow and as principled as a compass. Thank you Bishops for speaking with clarity, conviction and for speaking in defence of the hearth and the altars of your God.

@drjaytee87 Its election year in Zambia, keeping the pple happy or content is a smart way to retain power however in the long run there will be shortages if they fail to re-stock at the new prices..whereas here in Zim we wont have that problem bcz the gvt has already hedged against that.

Mr Mayo, lets look at the math, not the emotion here. Bulawayo Pop: 682k (1 session) Harare Pop: 1.67M (3 sessions) 1.67M / 682k = 2.44 which is rounded of to 3. It’s about proportional representation, not tribalism or favoritism as you are now insinuating
David Coltart@DavidColtart

The whole of #Bulawayo, a City of 700,000 people, has been given only one time & venue to be consulted regarding Constitutional Amendment Bill 3 at 10am on Monday 30th March at City Hall. Whilst it is ridiculous that only one opportunity has been provided note this time & date.

When Grace Mugabe was making moves to seemingly takeover from Robert Mugabe and the media and public started asking questions. Jonathan Moyo came out saying that "she is in the crown" of leadership based on her position as the wife of the President. Today that same Jonathan with such flawed logic comes out in support of mutilation of the Constitution and some believe he is worth listening to. Kwanai.

I have never responded to you @IsaacMakomichi but apa wakutopengawo hako and you need correction. I have always said this country is spiritual and not everyone with ambitions or hyped gets to lead it because the spirits of the land dictate who gets the position. Once one trespasses against the laws of the land, trashes the humane standard, oversteps the moral boundaries by refusing his own children access to their mother the spirits will revolt against such! Spiritually the game is over and even the women of the land can't support such a candidate. The prevailing consensus among women, and indeed within society at large, is that custody of young children predominantly resides with the mother. It is therefore unsurprising that ZANU PF has opted run with 2030 Resolution!. A leader characterized by excessive anger does not bode well for the nation's future. The manner in which an individual navigates familial responsibilities serves as an indicator of how they will govern a country.

Any professor who claim to be in poverty & blame @zanupf_patriots @ZANUPF_Official is a fake professor - a Professor at @UniversityOfZim must generate money both the university and himself or herself. If you were talking of the generality of civil servants I would understand!

The problem with Zimbos who scream at everything is LACK OF EXPOSURE & utter ignorance of what they opposing. Prof @gift_mugano is right, & here is why. For one to be a Professor, the person must be AN AUTHORITY in a subject area. He is respected BEYOND the borders of his country. A USEFUL Professor working at a University MUST apply for funding for research purposes… That money comes to the Institution… The Professor then recruits Graduate Students to perform research funded by the money he brought. That money can be so much that the Graduate Students may earn a SUBSTANTIAL STIPEND on a monthly basis. Those who have studied Masters or PhD in South African Universities will tell you it is MOSTLY FREE. It’s rare to find someone paying for a Masters Degree or PhD especially in STEM or the Accounting/Economics fields. In fact, most Masters & PhD students in STEM receive a Monthly Stipend that’s big enough to put them in the top 10% earners in South Africa. In all this, it is the PROFESSOR who gets the money for the University. Some Professors raise as much as R10 million per year. So, if in Zimbabwe there are University Professors who can’t raise money for themselves & the Universities they work for, they are totally useless… They are not serious people. Companies & govt departments in Zimbabwe & outside are always looking for solutions to the challenges they face… Some are looking for ways to improve their products & their processes… A USEFUL Professor approaches them, applies for a research grant, & work on finding the solution with his students…. The companies ARE MORE THAN WILLING to fund relevant research…. But if the Professors love complaining 24/7 like you @drjaytee87, expect them to bring nothing

This man printed $250,000,000 in his basement and served only 6 weeks in prison Frank Bourassa didn’t just make “fake” money he made it better than the government He spent two years studying every security feature of the $20 bill, even tricking a paper mill into making the exact cotton linen blend used by the U.S. Treasury When the Secret Service finally caught him, he was facing 60 years in prison but Frank had a backup $200 million in hidden cash he hadn't spent yet He offered the Feds a deal they couldn’t refuse: The location of his secret stash in exchange for his freedom He served just 6 weeks and paid a fine of $1,350 That’s basically the cost of a TV for a $250 million crime
