@natalie_thenerd edge connector looks cooler anyways. if you want part number (for port)/pcb files shoot a dm. it wasn't fun rerouting the whole pcb for the port + cc resistors. i haven't gotten around to releasing yet, but it will be open src

@sp0menik @kayoubi750715 @PhenomMod The issue is that the PSX HDD is encrypted so it's currently impossible to modify most system files. Although it already has an English translation and a modified version of my PSBBN game installer could work on PSX too.

@iVirtualPlays @sp0menik A little more than that. Media pickup lasers are often dead. PSX also has more RAM than a standard PS2.

@sp0menik @PhenomMod Yes it's just a dead HDD, they don't have any other issues unless opened which can range from blown SMD fuses or torn ribbon cables. It's basically a DVR with PS2 Slim hardware and it runs nice and cool.

@cyothevile My goal at the moment was simply PSX support so UDMA5. It has no fallback mode. Only UDMA5 is supported. The project will support UDMA6 though

PSX DESR HDD replacements are coming soon. Battle of the IDE emulators. It's a good year for retro enjoyers. SD2IDE coming to a PSX near you. soon. (amber light is HDD activity)

DO NOT SHIP UPS INTERNATIONALLY It looks like @UPS wants to give themselves the ability to destroy packages they can’t keep up with rather than send them back or simply process them through without collecting tariffs (like Canada and Brazil do when they can’t keep up).
