My honest take based on Kisumu rally is that Dr. Oburu Oginga should urgently call for ceasefire within ODM. Babu Owino is showing maturity in his game. We need to move together as one. But sadly, there is another complex issue — the cosmopolitan nature of Nairobi politics favours Babu when he is in opposition — Linda Mwananchi. For Orengo, the formation does not favour him in Siaya. But the most fundamentally, there is urgent need for intergenerational dialogue in Raila Odinga's party. These are realities we must accept.

Murang'a rally uncovered! NTV has released a tape showing how the Kiharu TVET was used for Kiharu visit by the president. I saw someone say that the name of Ndindi Nyoro was covered by a cellotape! Locals were paid ksh 500 to chear, people from long distance got 1,500 shillings, boda boda were given ksh 2 000. It has as well emerged there the president never spoke about Nyoro except Alice Wahome. Some leaders said they have longer political life and feared. Wahome was shut by the masses. It is not easy.
