Have had a quick peak at Twitter again, after several months' absence. It's like walking on beautiful Wandsworth Common in the days before Poop Bags. Why aren't more of you maths ed people on BlueSky?

Is it 6 ÷ into 2 groups of 3 or 6 ÷ into 2 groups of 3. Visuals can teach a deeper conceptual understanding. Is doubling and halving understood? If I double the number of groups, the groups will be half the size etc.

Half a group of six? 0.5x6? Would visual be better if I eliminate the white eggs? Is there any value in trying to represent this multiplication problem visually? @pwharris @howie_hua @HarMath @MathsCirclesOz @mATH_e_matics @MrValencia24 @letsplaymath

@UKMathsTrust One approach is to think of the LOGO Turtle tracing the path. How many degrees does it turn through? How do the angles it turns through relate to the given angles?
