What Scott has posted is the latest - we have initial acceptance from the Cladding Safety Scheme (which is the new version of the Building Safety Fund) and now we need to put the project plan in place for full Government funding. Will ask for proper comms to be sent out

@RH_residents @nearlylegal @polluterpaysbsb @justinbates28 I was following the legislation closely but didn’t realise this watering down at the time. Our freeholder is valued at £144m but because they own 175 buildings they’re off the hook, despite only a fraction of them having safety issues. A real shame @team_greenhalgh

We’re not asking the taxpayer to pay, we’re asking the Govt to forward fund to protect innocents (as it has done before) THEN recover money from those responsible

@mikegruber @daveker39992697 @chidnik @LBC Wrong. It’s like buying a car & discovering that the mechanism to deploy the airbags doesn’t work; then the car would be recalled & fixed FREE OF CHARGE. No survey exists pre-purchase that would have revealed these defects. And leaseholders don’t own the cladding, just the inside

@rachelhcstewart @NobelH_Cladding @YY_Management We were when the fund reopened for the second tranche in May, but it has now closed again. Our MP was extremely helpful in lobbying MHCLG on our behalf, recommend getting in touch with them and asking for help working with the government department. Hope that helps, good luck!
