Leave it to Justice Jackson to defend the suicide pact of birthright citizenship for illegals by not understanding the difference between territorial jurisdiction (obeying local laws), and political allegiance. If territorial jurisdiction means allegiance, every tourist is a US citizen, which is insane. The whole thing is so low IQ and embarrassing for the Court.

The most blackpilling part of the birthright citizenship debate at SCOTUS isn't that they might rule the Constitution requires it. It's that, if they do, there isn't a hope in Hell that our Congress would ever pass a new amendment to fix it. It should be the easiest thing in the world to pass a new law clarifying that tourist anchor babies and surrogate children bought by CCP oligarchs don't get lifelong U.S. citizenship. Yet everybody knows Congress will never do this. There aren't enough votes to repeal a policy of obvious long-term national suicide. That should fill us with a lot of dread for the country's future.

American Indians were not granted US citizenship by the 14th Amendment. It took another law for that. By this understanding, the 14th Amendment clearly cannot apply to illegal aliens

The left would have a much better argument about birthright citizenship if Section 1 of the Fourteenth Amendment did *not* contain this limiting clause (emphasized below in all caps), which the left chronically ignores: “All persons born or naturalized in the United States, AND SUBJECT TO THE JURISDICTION THEREOF, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.”
