@ES_DE_Frontend In general, I don't like filters and shaders, but I really hate the smooth/HQ ones! It wouldn't be so bad if text didn't get fucked up in a lot of games. It always makes me upset whenever I see that filter on games lol

In the early days of emulators especially with snes9x the one thing I didnt look for was accuracy, i wanted to make it look super smooth with those filters like super Sai and scaleFX. Now the thought of using something like that horrifies me.
Is this just me?

I've played RE games *a lot* throughout my life and one of the strangest misconceptions about 'survival horror' is that "ammo should be scarce" what part of old survival horror games ever signaled that? it wasn't silent hill it wasn't resident evil where did it come from?

@Gils_bfr @rotciVArt Whatever you do, do NOT play Rebirth mode. I feel like no one talks about this version beyond "it's a remake/port! You can touch Jill's ass and Chris' dick!" and never address the new gameplay quirks. Anyway, Rebirth is shit and adds DS gimmicks in a way that ruins the game.

@alaskorly Resident Evil 2 especially has A LOT of ammo scattered around the map. A lot of it is hidden, but you'll be pretty well-stocked by the end of the game if you get some of the ammo pickups.

@lecatndmich Upon release I didn't care for the pixel remasters too much because I like the PSP (and later versions in that style) versions a lot. Finally played the one for 1 a few years ago and I don't mind it. I'm just a hater lol
