@ChaiDeluxe It wasn’t a bad movie per se but I would prefer just a Pokémon movie. I didn’t need a detective movie. And I think if they did it with a main character starting their journey then they could’ve went somewhere with it. It just felt like Pokémon added to the real world.

@lunaherx I mean, walking into the theater you knew any fight obiwan got in he was gonna survive, somehow Anakin was gonna fall, Padme was gonna probably die, the majority of the Jedi had to die somehow, so there were pivotal moments in the movie you weren’t surprised what was gonna happen

@lunaherx I think a thing that hurt that film was it was a prequel you knew going into that. It was all gonna go to hell not as quickly as you thought it might, but you knew it was going there. And I think the people who really liked Anakin hoped it wasn’t going to happen.

@waketheents @JultimateJ @uniquemoviemom I always took it more of the fact that he fought so differently than a Jedi that had fallen that’s what threw them off. He used the Sith lightsaber forms or forms that they didn’t recognize.

The books and I think the movie basically said that Jedi were rusty in real lightsaber combat because it hadn’t been nessessary. They were all very good at blaster deflection, but the maul fight caused a resurgence in saber fighting I’m not making it up. It was a talking point.
