@lazereater Given the store growth and other sales volume growth numbers that have been posted, I assume the revised (down) expectations are due to the increased marketing and capex spending?

All the $tpb sell side reports have been revised and now it looks like EBITDA expectations have all been taken in.

@BarnieTaintpipe @orrdavid The question then becomes at what price (valuation) does it become compelling? IDK...Way beyond my circle of competence.

@orrdavid Not advocating for buying it now but I can see a world where $SPCX has one of the genuinely largest moats of all time. This is ofc on the back of Blue Origin blowing up but how many spacefaring companies are really going to be founded in the next decade to compete at that scale?

I quit most space theme shorts 18 months ago, on the vague suspicion that the theme would become hyped up. Stocks like $IRDM hadn't even really begun running up yet, so I wasn't even reading into a momentum which is how I often do it. I had no concrete reason for why I thought to do this. It was a sort of feeling or subcontious thought? Before that, my reason for shorting space stocks: 1. SpaceX makes launches much cheaper so previous money spent launching satellites up to space was largely wasted. 2. Space generally is a terrible industry, huge lead times, equipment that goes obsolete fast, and zero margin for error in hardware with tons of moving parts. Now, with the benefit of hindsight, I think the issue is that a third variable is far more key: 3. There are limited number of orbital slots and spectrum, and when it's way cheaper to get things into space, their value goes way up. Even if they aren't allowed to sell the spectrum, many of these space companies will be able to use those slots for a way higher economic value than before. Maybe this new third thesis is wrong or not, who the hell really knows. Markets hard, weird, abstract. You know far less than you think, things are much less in your control than you'd prefer. The way to win is staying fluid, not staying wrong, focusing on risk. Without a very strong, rare reason you should panic early, and still at least panic "late" because you never know when the thing can keep running.

Pre-answering the inevitable $AMZN earnings DMs. Little has changed. The algos will chase whatever management says about CapEx. The market will overreact. As usual. If it rips, cool. If it tanks, I’ll be buying more. IDGAF.

@CashFlowKingsYT @komodo_capital @komodo_capital has had some great picks and very informative write ups. I've been in DAVE since Q3 2025, and have done very well. I'm excited about the back half of 26 and 27 as I think there is more to come.

@tekprime99 Which is the "better option" is entirely subjective and depends upon such things as goals, risk tolerance, ect. There is no one option fits all.

Dave Ramsey tells caller to use money from his $1.2 million investment portfolio instead of taking out a mortgage to buy a $350,000 home Caller: “My salary is $70K and she's doing $55K” Dave: “Do you have the money in a pile to pay cash for the house? That's not really an option is it?” Caller: “You're going to be very happy to hear this. We both net around $1.2 million invested in mutual funds, ETFs, bonds, and stocks” Dave: “No, I would not borrow money when I have a million dollars in investments. I would just take some of that and buy me a house. Simple. How expensive a home are you thinking about buying” Caller: “We're looking at $350K to $380K” Dave: “Perfect. So $350K leaves you $650K in investments. You have no house payment. There's no strain on your budget. Your wife can stay home with the babies. When you have no payments, you make different decisions than when you have a house payment. So don't do that to your family. You have worked very hard and done a very good job saving money. Use that money to buy a house, or don't buy a house. Be a renter”

BOFA: HEDGE THE RALLY Bank of America is urging investors to hedge further S&P 500 gains, warning the recent rally is losing momentum and could give way to a “three-wave correction” through September. Technical strategist Paul Ciana sees the index falling as low as 6,850—about 8% below current levels—and warns that even new highs could be a “head fake” before a broader pullback.

$ADBE has had one of the wildest re-ratings I've ever seen for a company with an incredibly bright future. Absolutely Brutal! I think 5 years from now we will look back at this being one of those stocks that you just had to buy in 2026...

Is anyone buying $NFLX here? They seem crazy cheap, I thought they we're at $90+, but I guess they have been getting killed recently Is this a value trap or generational buying opportunity?

@joecarlsonshow Good idea. It made sense years ago when you first started. One was passive income, dividend focused, and the other growth oriented. Today, both mirror each other because your investing style has changed and focuses on quantity, compounding businesses with wide competitive moats.

That’s fair to say! Not every company is in every investors circle of competence/confidence. I’m very confident in my positions going forward, but I’m not sure how Amazon and the other cloud players will play out (including Google which I own). This doesn’t mean I’m bearish Amazon or any other company I’m not comfortable holding it just means I don’t own it!

My goal is to compound my portfolio at 15% per year. Here's what each holding in my portfolio needs to do to see 15% annualized returns going forward: $ADBE 5% FCF/share growth 15x Exit Multiple $META 13% EPS growth 20x Exit Multiple $MA 16% FCF/share growth 25x Exit Multiple $GOOGL 23% EPS growth 25x Exit Multiple $SPGI 13% FCF/share growth 25x Exit Multiple $DUOL 11% FCF/share growth 15x Exit Multiple $SPOT 18% FCF/share growth 25x Exit Multiple $PYPL 4% FCF/share growth 12x Exit Multiple $INTU 9% FCF/share growth 15x Exit Multiple $UBER 9% EPS growth 20x Exit Multiple $TOST 20% EPS growth 25x Exit Multiple $CPRT 11% EPS growth 25x Exit Multiple $NFLX 18% EPS growth 25x Exit Multiple Some will underperform 15% and some will overperform 15%, but I think over the long haul the total portfolio has a great chance at compounding at 15% per year or higher. Bookmark this if you disagree...

@RussellFL370 You’re probably right I just don’t have 100% confidence in how all of these large clouds will unfold years down the road when build outs slow and demand is met from other players. Like I said though you’re probably right I just don’t know how it would play out

@RussellFL370 Yeah I’m actually quite bullish on Amazon but they have so many business segments that I’m not 100% sure will play out good for them. Their e-commerce and advertising business will be insanely profitable for years to come in my opinion.
