Alien: Isolation 2 was one of the games I was most excited about when it was announced at Summer Game Fest. I’ve completed the first game multiple times. It was definitely ahead of its time in terms of the AI mechanics, with the Alien stalking and hunting you down so effectively. With AI being such a big presence everywhere now, I’m really curious to see how much more intelligent they can make the aliens in the game. I expect they’ll force you to think harder in multiple scenarios, and you’ll probably die a lot more in the process too. The location change to a colony world should add a lot more variety to the environments and leave you more exposed to multiple aliens at once, which excites me a lot. One criticism I had of the first game was that some tasks felt repetitive, and you ended up backtracking through parts of the ship quite a bit. Here’s hoping the sequel has resolved that complaint. It looks like we’ll be playing as a new protagonist, but it would be nice to see some kind of conclusion with Amanda Ripley, as the first game left her story on a bit of a cliffhanger. @RustyRoninTV It was weirder with this one because that character is an actual child-sized character, and these freaks were thinking sexual thoughts in their accusation that it's a pedophile game.

Predictably, it started. The same people who praised the appearance of the middle-aged hag in GoW Laufey are now calling Stellar Blade Blood Rain's main protagonist, Evie, a character for pedophiles. It's everywhere on X, and after getting mocked by the Chuds, they have run to the true pedophile haven, Bluesky, to complain about it. It is a projection, a self-report, and inevitably, those most concerned about "pdfs" tend to be pedophiles themselves. They did it with Eve from Stellar Blade 1, and they are now doing it with Evie. The loudest "think of the children" freaks in the culture war always fixate on fiction and conflate it with reality, while ignoring the actual child victimization happening. And in some cases, later, they are exposed to being actual pedophiles. So... it's time to reset the clock, and inevitably one of these freaks will be exposed for who they really are. Internet history is littered with activists, journalists, and just "content creators" who were critical of fictionalized depictions of characters, and got exposed. Maybe the reality is that "hag fetishists" are using that as a shield against their own... less wholesome perversions.

Claire's outfit in the original Code Veronica was tamed as well. We are splitting our hair right now. She never revealed much of anything in the older games. The outfit never had sex appeal. I would say that the new outfit is too similar to the remake 2 outfit. But the whole biker vibe that Claire once had was changed in the remakes. They seemed to be staying consistent with what the remake has created.
