My daughter, a law school graduate, passer of the bar exam and full grown attorney just showed me her multivitamin she’s been taking for months. She said, “I think I misunderstood this.” It says for Women 50+ and she thought the 50+ meant 50+ vitamins in each pill.

My favorite ever nonverbal interaction was the time a mom was pointing to my window, excitedly showing her daughter the 3 kittens that were sitting and looking out. We made eye contact, and she looked briefly embarrassed before I reached down next to me and held up a 4th kitten

I have a very simple name (or so I thought) and people have regularly called me "Shawn" my entire life. So much so, that I actually respond to it as I've become so accustomed. Often, people are mortified when they realize it's not actually my name - but it honestly doesn't bother me. I have the fortune of working with plenty of people with unique names and so Ive developed a comfort level in attempting to pronounce unique ones - and asking people if I'm saying it wrong. However, I remember fondly in earlier years how I would try to look the pronunciation of someone's name up before I spoke to them because I was embarrassed to ask them -- believing it was insulting. Perhaps for all the "Sue's" of the world, it's just an insecurity padded with nervous humor.

As I am working on some new ports, I am debating about using a screw cap for them. I will never want a screw cap on one of my dry reds, but with a port, I do see the practicality and efficiency. Would love feed back about what other wine lovers think of screw caps. Cheers.
