The world is a tough place. Figured I come here and exercise my first amendment rights! I might say a bad word or two. Snark is inevitable.

@WallStreetApes My first job with a business degree was on a loading dock at a department store and that was a long time ago. It took 6 years to get into what became my career. I think expectations are unrealistic. Keep trying.

College graduate can’t even get a job at McDonald’s or Walmart “This job market is so cooked. I have a degree in chemical engineering, spent 4 years of my life getting this degree and I can't get a job anywhere. I've applied to so many different engineering firms, I just cannot get a job. So then I started applying to like places like Walmart and McDonald's, and I've been rejected from all of them, every single one” “I spent 4 years of my life for this degree, and I can't even get a job that pays $14 an hour” According to recent data, only about 30% of college graduates are able to find jobs with their degrees within a reasonable amount of time They must put in an average over over 100+ applications Average debt for bachelors degree: $35,000+ Average debt for masters degree: $77,000+ How is this now a scam So to get both you must go into about $105,000 in debt

Polls measure current opinion. "History will not be kind" is a claim about how future generations will evaluate actions and consequences. Plenty of people were popular in their own time and judged harshly later, and vice versa. The two aren't the same thing. Appealing to polls is an appeal to popularity, not an argument about history. Many figures enjoyed strong public support in their day and were reassessed later. Obama is only 10 years removed from his term - less if you think he influenced Biden's term. Current approval and historical legacy are separate questions. There is a lot we don't know as well - how the poll was conducted, who was asked, how was the question framed - hell, we don't even know if the "historian" answered it or had an assistant do it.

Are you kidding? They bombed at least TEN other countries. They didn't bend over - they lashed out at EVERYONE, even those not in the fight. They are a threat to the region. There's your proof. And yes, as the major superpower, we absolutely get to decide in who gets nuclear weapons. That's not some bizarre or uniquely American idea - it's been the basis of global nonproliferation policy for decades. The US, Russia, China, the UK, France, and many others have all worked to prevent additional states from acquiring nuclear weapons because every new nuclear power increases the risk of war, proliferation, accidents, and regional arms races. Pretending nobody gets a say in nuclear proliferation is a nice slogan, but it's completely detached from reality.

Were they just supposed to bend over and take it? What does the US decide Who gets nukes?

I’m not you. I asked you. Whether we fucked up the Middle East enough 75 years ago doesn’t answer whether we should be there now, and whether or not this was worth it. There is no perfect war. but the reason we went was a good one. Iran cannot have nukes, and their actions when we attacked proved why.

@BBinkerdink @DefiantLs No shit. History will not be kind to Obama. Most of what draws people to Obama has nothing to do with policy and everything to do with feelings. What repels people from Obama is feelings based on policy.

@ClownWorld Why only 10.25%? They should have made it 50% - how could they keep it so low when that could pay for some BS government program or a new swimming pool for Karen Bass?

If your position is that any country hosting U.S. forces, cooperating with the U.S., or assisting U.S. military operations becomes a legitimate target, then you've just expanded the war far beyond Iran and its direct attacker. Iran's attacks or hostile actions extended across Israel, Iraq, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, the UAE, Oman, Turkey, Syria, and even areas affecting Cyprus and British bases. That's not a contained conflict. That's a doctrine that potentially puts a large portion of the Middle East and beyond in the crosshairs whenever Iran goes to war...which is exactly why people are concerned about. You're describing the concern, not disproving it. Iran like a mob boss - you come after them, they coming after not only you but people you know. Not exactly stable geniuses.

@SnarkyTank @MegynKellyShow Your argument is retarded. Third party? Would the U.S. consider it a third party threat to ignore if Cuba was hosting Russia or China to attack us? Of course not. You host a hostile military to attack a sovereign nation, in this case Iran, and you are part of the war.

What would you consider a win? Instead of talking out your ass, how is Iran stronger? Is their military stronger? Are they more prosperous? Are they financially stronger? Do they have more allies? We are out of the regime change business. Israel and the neocons want us to decimate Iran - we won't. Others wanted us to do nothing, ignore the problem and hope it went away despite evidence to the contrary. We didn't. Tell us what a win looks like to you.

You're making my argument for me. If Iran's justification is that a country supports or hosts U.S. forces, then you're admitting Iran considers third-party countries legitimate targets. That's exactly why people view a nuclear-armed Iran as a regional and international security concern. This has been the concern for decades.

@SnarkyTank @MegynKellyShow No, Iran responded to the terrorist attack against their people, then aided by the U.S., by attacking countries that host the U.S. military. That hosted the U.S. military bases attacking Iran. Why not be honest?

Oh c'mon, you can't be this obtuse. There's a reason North Korea is called the Hermit Kingdom. They are isolationists. Same with Israel, who gave up Gaza 21 years ago. Has Pakistan had a policy of expansionism? Iran threw bombs at everyone as soon as they were attacked. A nuke in Iran is a threat to the entire region, and now it turns out, Europe since it's clear they can hit a target that far away.

@SnarkyTank @MegynKellyShow How many have died because Pakistan, Israel, and North Korea have nukes? Iran was attacked twice, unprovoked, during peace negotiations by Israeli terrorists. If they had a nuke it is the one thing that would stop Israel from continuing their Holocaust- including on Christians.

Not my words, but Margaret Thatcher said if you just set out to be liked, you would be prepared to compromise on anything at any time, and you would achieve nothing. Greatness is not a popularity contest. The leaders who made the hardest, most lasting changes were often hated while they did it. That’s why Trump will be remember as the most transformative and consequential president in the last 100 years and these guys will be remembered for a picture and a physical trait in which he had no control.
