We literally can’t.
• No tracking
• No user data
• No centralized control

That’s how Linux works.
The problems:
• Laws assume platforms can identify users
• Linux distros don’t have accounts or telemetry
• Mirrors + torrents = no control over distribution
• Even developers can’t track who installs their OS
This breaks the entire model.
Reality:
You can’t enforce surveillance…
on a system designed for freedom.

How does Nexus pretend this is their deal anyway?
Cease and Desist's typically come from the publishers. Why does Nexus pretend they have authority over such things when it's on totally different sites?

🚨 JUST NOW 🚨 HobbyR34 just had all of his mods completely removed from NexusMods Nexus staff removed every direct Patreon link mention as they asked. Then Nexus just nuked mods everything because his Twitter links to a Carrd, which links to Patreon. They are now saying even indirect links through your own Twitter count as a violation of their donation rules. This is actually odd. Nexus doesn’t own your personal Twitter or what you put in your own bio/links. Support HobbyR34 for making mods!

Valve has updated its Steam pricing tools for developers. They now offer three ways to set regional prices for games: - Simple currency exchange rate - Purchasing power parity (based on what people can actually afford) - A mix of multiple data sources For a $60 USD game, this can mean very different prices in other countries, like €51, €43, or €62 in parts of Europe. The change is optional. Existing games stay the same unless updated.

Valve has updated their pricing conversion tools that include three different methods for game devs to choose.

Miałem jako-takie ogarnięcie z kompami gdy trzeba było użerać się z Windows98.
Potem WinXP i Win7 i niemal wszystkie umiejętności wyparowały... bo nie psuły się i nie przyprawiały o migrenę przy normalnym użytkowaniu.

@mezbelly Wish they stick to old build in HL2 - the final release was so bland... the 1984-esque instead of average Eastern Europe and I didn't feel it (I'm from those parts)
