I’m new here but feel free to Follow me and my journey, always been shocking with money, living week to week even though I’ve been in work since September 2021. Up until recently, which I have my girlfriend to thank for pushing me to do better with my money, I’ve never saved. I found Trading 212 a fun way to save, and it’s got me completely hooked! Opened this on 13th March, and I’ve enjoyed life so much more just seeing that number grow, gives you peace of mind! Road to £5000.

Good morning☕️ Continuing building my good habits out of bad habits this morning. £22.50 spent in the garage on the way to work this morning on Vape & other stuff. Which means £25 deposited into my S&S ISA. This brings my total to £440 invested since last Thursdays payday which is insane for me, I can’t believe I use to waste that & more weekly.

@StocksandDares Nice. My workplace pension only started in November as that’s when I turned 22. I’ve been thinking of just doing £20 P/W for now in the SIPP.

I’m unsure to be honest, seemed the sensible play though.. I’m debating transferring over my workplace pension, but I’ve looked and the returns on that aren’t that bad at all. I think just drips and drabs here and there. Maybe some of my bonus’ as it annoys me how much you lose through tax, so it will at least make me feel better!

@earnlearninvest Exactly that mate. It looks an expensive morning, but that £25 I’ve put in, to counteract my bad habits (vaping), will eventually grow in T212 and like you say, you’ll get your money back and more.

@TFInvests I love opportunity cost like this. Sorry if you’ve heard it already but every time I buy a Tesco meal deal (no more than twice a week) I put a fiver into Tesco $TSCO.l Eventually they’ll be paying me to get meal deals

This pie was £70 up last week. Today it’s down to £20 Big drops all across the market today but I’m not panicking. Staying calm and disciplined. We were due some red days and I won’t be surprised if there’s more this week. Have you bought anything on the dips today?

Morning FinX I didn’t spend a single penny on Monday or Tuesday, I meal prepped at the start of the week and made coffees at home. I decided to drop the money I’d usually spend into my account last night. Is anyone else buying anything on discount?

@tradestotrades Thanks mate. I’ve kept it small on that, I aim to add £250 a week, and $HIMS will only be getting a small %. I just like where they are going with peptides right now.

A lot of attention on this post, more than I ever imagined! Thank you for all the help, the community is amazing to new starters. I cashed the pie in at a small loss, not ideal I know. I had £392.84 and here is what I done with it ⬇️ £137.50 - $NVDA £137.50 - $AMZN £92.84 - $VWRP (Largest Holding) £25 - $HIMS I feel this is safer, reinforcing my position in $VWRP. I have my 2 giants in $AMZN & $NVDA, and a small play in $HIMS. What do you think? ⬇️
