But my angle is a housing crisis like 2008 only hurts landlords and recent mortgage buyers.

Sure you could make more compounding gains in the market - but ideally you own a home and are invested in the market.

Difference is you still ‘own’ the house and assuming you can still afford the payments you have it as security backstop, whereas in the market its gone, unless aggressively hedging

@TicTocTick Yea I often go back and forth whether I would rather buy a home outright or a mortgage and capture alpha in the markets. But man, having no payments over your head is the ultimate piece of mind.

That celebration was despicable. A lot of American citizens treat sports like it’s their god. Too much time and money is spent on sports.
