@kokeshimum Stamp duty thresholds are very low. If the argument is - downsize so you can use capital from your property - then don't underplay the costs; stamp duty, legal fees, moving and an agent is not a few K. But I do agree, a persons assets should be expected to support retirement

Disability has always existed, that includes children we literally have anthropological record of ancient humans taking care of the sick, disabled & elderly. Disability is part of the spectrum of being human. Being honest about that is a good thing.

the only reason people object to the label of disability is because it forces you to interact with your own negative opinions of disabled people. or conflating disability with an unjustified victimhood. diagnosed or not, a kid with autism or ADHD is disabled.
